The reason why bad thoughts come back.

hare Krishna to all the devotees

All glories to srila Prabhupada

From quite a long time I have been chanting and studying properly. Regularly in the early morning. But 2-3 days ago i missed 2 days of chanting and now it is getting very hard to start reading BG again since I am getting these bad thoughts again. I am also getting a lot of anger very frequently again. So what should we do to avoid them and chant with determination. Also how can I chant with better quality.

Is the reason for these thoughts we get again and again are our past accumulated thingsin our mind or that happens when we are commtting offences against holy name and devotees, how to know what is the cause? To correct it.

Hare Krishna

-One last thing, am I the only one who thinks these spams have increased a lot from sometime.

    Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

Yes it is natural that once we stop chanting and pick it up after few days, we find it difficult to do the other angas of devotion. It is the conditioning of the mind over ages, over many many lifetimes. Do not get into what is the cause, better to spend energy in how to resolve and remain on satvik platform to the extent possible.

Learn the lesson, and move on. Mind is obstinate, powerful, chanchal and very determined. Therefore we have to tame the mind. Gradually, with practise. It will happen. Imagine a child learning to walk. How many times such a child falls. Each time, he smiles, gets up again and starts to walk again. That is how we also have to be. Everytime we fail, gather yourself and start your sadhana all over agan, begging forgiveness and mercy from devotees.

Regarding spam mails, got everything cleaned up yesterday. Today again there is spam mail starting. They appear to be more obstinate than the untrained mind.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

  • Hare Krishna,

Stop finding reasons as we cannot know and we cannot keep speculating on why it came.

Maybe you watched some bad stuff or you have offended someone could be devotee.. or maybe your mind wanted to relax a bit.

"So what should we do to avoid them and chant with determination. Also how can I chant with better quality. "

Just beat your mind with a broomstick.

While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises.( 2.62 BG)

From anger, delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost, one falls down again into the material pool. ( 2.63)

IT ALL STARTS FROM COMTEMPLATING THE OBJECTS OF SENSES.

WHAT ARE OBJECTS OF SENSES ?

you have answered in you previous question.

And how to get back your mind and senses you only have answered in your last question.

    Hare Krishna

    • Ok mataji , I will to the question again

Also Just beat your mind with a broomstick.- can I use hands?

      • Don't give anything the senses desire. Do only what pleases Krishna. This way you will give a tight slap to your mind and make it go back to Krishna.

        • But even though knowing i shouldn't do it, I still do. Thats is the real problem.

          • Then you should associate always with devotees who inspire you to be in KC.

Avoid the places where there are no devotees.
