All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Srila Prabhupada said that this earth is Bharatvarsa but Srimad Bhagabatam says that the land between the mount Himalaya and southern sea of salt water is only called as Bharatvarsa.
According to Srimad Bhagabatam, the Bharatvarsa is the only Karma Bhumi in this Universe and Sripad Madvacarya, Sripad Ramanujacarya,Sripad Bisnuswami ,Srpad Nimbarkacarya all preached the Bhagabata Dharma in the land between mount Himalaya and southern sea of salt water, not through the whole earth(which is Bharatvarsa according to Srila Prabhupada). If the above acaryas consider that the whole earth is Bharatvarsa then they must preach the Bhagabata Dharma through the whole earth, as Bharatvarsa is the only Karma Bhumi in this Universe.
So I want to know the accurate position of Bharatvarsa.

in his lecture His Holiness Bhakti Vidya Purna Swami Maharaja told that year by year Bharata Varsha is becoming less and less.
And some day even present India will be divided into several separate countries. And in the last Bharata Varsha will be called only UP district.
It is because people are becoming more non religious. they want to live separately and have their own separate rules and regulations. As like nowadays young couples do not like to live with their families but get separated and live themselves.

Hare Krishna!!! Bharat means "devoted to light as against darkness". The name "Bharat" was symbolic in nature revealing the fact that the whole country was highly enlightened spiritually. Since Srila Prabhupada was spreading the light of Krishna Consciousness throughout the world, maybe in that sense, He has used the word Bharatbarsha.
