Is there any Qualities or Qualifications to be a temple president in iskcon?
Who checks if he is following these rules?
Does chanting 16 rounds of japa is one qualification?

Yes, basic japa, morning program and the 4 principles are basic. The GBC oversees....
One quality is being merciful... any Temple can treat their donors nicely but how does the
Temple treat the bums? SP went to the bowery, home of the bums to preach, not the upper east side where all the rich donors are which is what the others before him did. THIS is the quality I look for in a Temple President... someone who understands things in context of where the Temple is and the neighbors.
