anyways i am not at all expert in it, but You are right Paul Prabhu, better to use those which we know Rama and Krishna.
And David Prabhu, it is so kind of You that You want to serve to Devotees! It is the key for the spiritual world, isn't it?!

I have also purchased seeds from Horizon Herbs.
They sent me 250 seeds in total.
This consisted of the following:
50 Krishna Tulasi
50 Rama Tulasi
50 Vana Tulasi
50 Kapoor Tulasi
I planted each separately. So far I have Matarani as seedlings. She is very small but I have all her 4 types in different pots. I have been trying to serve Her nicely. I plan to plant more of Her and give Her to my local temple as a service to the devotees.

here above first Tulasi used to grow in one Indian family's garden but they used to cut it again and again. But within their house was different Tualsi so they used to worship that Tulasi in house but not that which was similar to the first one here.
I really do not know. The first might be only basil not Tulasi but i am not sure.

But what does it mean "Kapoor" and "Vana"?
