Hare Krishna!
It is wonderful that you are interested in the spiritual remedies provided by Vedic literature.
To answer your question, purchasing and studying one canto of Srimad Bhagavatam does not mean that it represents the complete form of Lord Sri Krishna. The Srimad Bhagavatam is a multi-canto scripture that consists of twelve cantos, each revealing different aspects of the Supreme Lord and His pastimes. Each canto provides a unique perspective and deepens our understanding of Krishna's divine nature.
Just as a puzzle is complete only when all its pieces are assembled, similarly, to fully comprehend the complete form of Sri Krishna, it is recommended to study all twelve cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam. Each canto offers valuable insights into the various lilas (pastimes) and teachings of Lord Krishna.
However, even if you study only one canto, it can still provide immense spiritual benefit. Each canto of Srimad Bhagavatam is self-contained and contains profound wisdom. It is said that even a drop of the ocean of Bhagavatam can bring immense spiritual transformation.
To illustrate this, let me share an analogy. Imagine you are in a beautiful garden with different types of flowers. Each flower has its unique fragrance, beauty, and significance. Similarly, each canto of Srimad Bhagavatam represents a different aspect of Lord Krishna's divine pastimes and teachings. Just as a single flower can bring joy and beauty to the garden, studying one canto can bring spiritual inspiration and understanding.
Additionally, studying one canto can serve as a stepping stone to further explore and deepen your understanding of Lord Krishna's pastimes by gradually studying the remaining cantos. It is an ongoing journey of spiritual growth and realization.
In conclusion, while studying one canto of Srimad Bhagavatam can offer spiritual benefits, it is recommended to eventually study all twelve cantos to gain a comprehensive understanding of Lord Krishna's divine nature. Each canto adds depth and richness to our understanding of the Supreme Lord. I encourage you to embark on this beautiful journey of studying Srimad Bhagavatam and experiencing the blissful association of Lord Krishna through its teachings.

Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1.3: "O expert and thoughtful men, relish Srimad-Bhagavatam, the mature fruit of the desire tree of Vedic literatures. It emanated from the lips of Sri Sukadeva Gosvami. Therefore, this fruit has become even more tasteful, although its nectarean juice was already relishable for all, including liberated souls."
Srimad Bhagavatam 12.13.15: "In the age of Kali, intelligent persons perform congregational chanting to worship the incarnation of Godhead who constantly sings the holy name of Krishna. Although His complexion is not blackish, He is Krishna Himself. He is accompanied by His associates, servants, weapons, and confidential companions."
Chaitanya Charitamrita, Madhya 22.31: "When the mind is fixed on the lotus feet of Krishna, the restlessness and fickleness of the mind can be controlled."

Haribol
Hare KRsna PRabhuji,
PAMHO.
Doesnt matter hard copy or soft copy. What is important is that you read, understand and apply the principles mentioned in Srimad Bhagawatam. If there is a money problem now, no need to buy any canto at all. Simply read, hear lectures and try to imbibe the teachings.
