SOME SPIRITUAL QUESTIONS.

Hare Krishna to all devotees.

I have 2 questions, please let me know in detail.

1. In Maha-Mantra, hare ram which we chant, so what exactly the hare ram means, is it lord Ram, lord Balaram or Radha Madhav. If in hare Krishna, hare represents Sri Radha Rani, marginal potency of Krishna, so in hare ram, is it mother sita?

2. What's the meaning of Radha?.

Kindly shower your mercy on this fallen soul.

  • Hare Kirshna,

" Hare" means the pleasure potency of Lord Sri Krishna. We say in common language also Radhe Krishna, Sita Rama isn't it.

The simple meaning of Hare Krishna Mahamantra is, "Hey Srimati Radharani, please engage me in service of Krishna." Hare is the internal potency of Lord, who is none other than Srimati Radharani. Shaktiman (The Powerful) is powerless and holds no value without Shakti (Power).

The energy and the energeitc cannot be without each other alone. You cannot simply says Radhe Radhe.. Or Krishna, or Rama.

If both Female energy and male energetic both are addressed together then it is completeness as a whole.

Lord Rama's worship is incomplete if you don't say Sita Ram

    Similarly, Laxmi Narayan.

    Similarly Radhe Krishna.

But here in all the tree names above be it Krishna., Rama or Narayana they have their pleasure potencies associated. They are like different names of the same God in different swaroopas.

One is Pleasure ananda swaroopa ( Rama) one is Aishwarya swaroopa or riches ( Narayana), another is Prema swaroopa or Madhurya swaroopa that is Sri Krishna. as per their swaroopas the concerned shakti swaroopini devi forms also are present.

Here in Mahamantra we are addressing the same internal energy of Lord and immediately followed by the Energetic that is, Lord Himself.

Meansing of Radha is aaradhana. Aaaradhana means devotion.

In mahamantra we are pleading or begging , Shrimati Radharani to please give us the seva or service to serve the Lord. Pls. engage me in the service of Lord. Because  SHE is the one who can provide us some bhakti. She induces bhakti in us to make us eligble to serve God.

See, If you want to see Rama as Balarama, You could see too, You can see " Rama" name as Nitaai and His pleasure potency  Shrimati Jahanava devi as " Hare" in the next line of Mahamantra.

Depends on what you are affliated you or what ever deity you feel attracted to.

You can see " Rama " as Ayodhya Rama and His pleasure potency as Sita also.

Basically, If you see All are Krishna's avatars only. Even Balarama is not any less. Balarama is first expansion of Lord Sri Krishna.

    As per Brahma Samhita..

    Śrī brahma-saṁhitā 5.46

    dīpārcir eva hi daśāntaram abhyupetya
    dīpāyate vivṛta-hetu-samāna-dharmā
yas tādṛg eva hi ca viṣṇutayā vibhāti
    govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi

The light of one candle being communicated to other candles, although it burns separately in them, is the same in its quality. I adore the primeval Lord Govinda who exhibits Himself equally in the same mobile manner in His various manifestations.

Which meas all expansions of Lord are non different and have same potency as the main candle. So, you can see "Rama" as Ayodhya Rama or Nitaai or Balrama.

    Hope it is clear now.

    Hare Krishna.
