Q) Are there 84 lakh species only on Earth or is it the total number of species across one universe ? What happens to animals like Dinosaurs and other extinct animals and why is there population rise ?
Q) Is Sri Krishna or Lord Vishnu also have the name Mahakal as I think somewhere in Sri Brhad Bhagavatamrta Lord Vishnu's region was described as Mahakalapura

84 lakh species refer to our universe, not just mother earth. For example, there are 4 lakh human species. These include gandharva, kinnar and devata.
Animals like dinosaurs are existing in other lokas within this universe, if they are not found on earth.

The number of species in Padma Purana relates to the whole material world.
Dinosaurs are not extinct as per Srila Prabhupada and cryptozoologists.
In Kali yuga lesser qualifications are needed to get a human body.
