Should these "superstition" be followed?

Hare Krishna to all the devotees

All glories to srila Prabhupada

There are many "superstition" like about scissors should not be used empty , about black coloured cats, or especially that on some days like Tuesday (today) you shouldn't cut your nails or hairs and many others.

So, should we follow them? Is there is quotation from shastra in which these are referred, of we can ignore them?
