Yesterday, I Was discussing with my elder brother that gambling should be avoided in any form, pat came the reply that Investing in share market is also a sort of gambling. I couldn't disagree, earnings from speculative business is very similar to gambling.
I would request Fellow Devotees to throw some light on above mentioned question.

GAMBLING - DEFINITION :
Gambling is taken to mean not only betting with money over games or sporting events, but also speculative, dishonest or illicit business dealings.
RESULTS :
a) Excessive material attachment
b) Loss of mental equilibrium because of anxiety
c) Suffering of the participants because of loss
d) Increase of dishonesty and cheating
e) Destroys the elevating quality of truthfulness
