To establish self confidence in mind that i CAN follow my gurus order(if they hard to be followed by me),is appropriate in Krishna consciousness or it is ego?

U r right Mataji.But determination is also related to self confidence i think so.If we get affraid or defeated what will the results.Please clarify this.
Determination combined with humility is the key prabhuji.
Its not wrong to be afraid, what matters is that despite being afraid, we chose to go ahead and do what is right, to serve guru & Gauranga.
Defeated - even a confident person can feel defeated at times.
By confidence, we mean that we are taking strength from our ability, rather than taking strength from Guru's mercy, which is dependence. The work will still have to be done by us only.
Try surrendering to guru once prabhu, you will understand when you do it practically.
My limited knowledge says that we have to depend on guru's mercy to be able to carry out his orders/ instructions. We have to be determined, not confident. Determination and effort is ours, mercy is guru's.
