I heard that the scriptures related to Shakti were written after the vedic age. I am not sure about the authenticity of such claim.Does anyone have any info on it or is it just a rumour?
I dont intend to hurt any community and their belief. Please forgive me if this discussion looks hurting to anyone.

Vedas means the instructions given by God when He created this machine of material world. With the help of Vedas we use this machine properly and achieve the spiritual world at the same time living happy life in our material life.
But those who do not live according to the Vedas will misuse human life and plus loose chance to achieve the goal of human life.
Shakti as i guess is Mother Durga. We can find knowledge about Her in Vedas also. In this way all knowledge is there in Vedas. some other books are only from them.
