Sanyasa danda.

Hare Krishna, dear devotees.

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Gurudeva.

Can someone please explain why Nityananda had broken the sanyasa danda from Caitanya Mahaprabhu? If possible please explain in details.

    Jai Shri Krishna..

     

    How can an ordinary soul like me who is so inconsequential even start to explain the ecstatic behavior of  Lord Nityananda who is actually Lord Ananta Sesha and Lord Balarama.  Krishna forgive me for my mistakes... 

     

    My personal feeling is, Lord Nityananda was "MAD" with love for Lord Chaitanya.. so much so that he lost his senses and did things which were very uncharacteristic of a Vaishnava or in this case exactly that.   " He broke His stick and water pot".  There was no intention of doing it intentionally.  If Lord Nityananda who is Lord Ananta Sesha who is Lord Balaram gets so "out of control" then what of ordinary inconsequential souls like us?
