Hare Krishna,
Could someone point me to a link/write up which is AUTHENTIC (by Vaishanava standards), that lists all the samsakaaras one need to perform and how EXACTLY these can be performed in a Krishna Counscious way in the present age. My son is due his Annapraasa ceremony, but I am in doubt regarding the month/time and other finer details regarding such ceremonies, like HOW, WHEN, WHO should perform etc etc. Some said it is in the Sixth month, where as another said it should be 'after' completing 6 months and so on. I hope getting such information will rule out many loose practices stemming from 'Knowledgable Elders' in normal families who often declare "In Our tradition it is like this" , so on and so forth. This would standardize the way we follow rituals in sanaatana dharma. Truly this site is so bloomed with information on all categories, however, may I beg to suggest that a Category in this regard would add more value to this site.
Hare Krishna.
