Saktyavesa Avatara

Hare Krsna Dearest Prabhus and Mataji, PAMHO, all glories to the chanting of the Holy Name!

My question refers to the above image that I found online..

Based on the description of Avatara - "living entities who are directly empowered by the Lord" - in other words Living Entities. Example are given of Brahma, Narada, Four Kumaras, etc. who I can understand are living entities. But how is Ananta, Sesa, Parasurama, or Prthu considered living entities, if they are incarnations of Vishnu (Parasurama and Prthu) or Balarama (Ananta and Sesa).

From another site I got the following information:

6. Shaktyavesha avataras: - Empowered Incarnations

There is no limit to the number of shaktyavesha incarnations. But some are mentioned in the vedic literatures as examples. They are of two kinds, direct and indirect.

When the Lord Himself expands displaying a particular power of His opulences He is known as Sakshat.

When He empowers a living entity with some particular sakti - power, for some specific activity, to represent Him , that living entity is called indirect or avesha incarnation.

Please help me understand the mysterious of our beloved Sri Krsna.

YS for eternity,

ETA: Also, since we are on the topic of incarnations -

1. of course there are infinite amounts of incarnations, but does Krsna, Rama, etc. appear in different universes too as themselves? I've always wondered if a Ravana appears in every treta yuga or if this is just specific to this manavantara?

2. Also, under which avatara does Kalki fall under? Would it be Leela or an indirect avatara (under saktyavesha avatar)

3. Slightly off topic, but what happens to the jiva-atma of Lord Brahma, the Four Kumaras, Narada Muni, etc. I assume they all go to either Goloka or Vaikuntha correct?

  • Hare Krsna to  all.

    Such a wonderful topic.

I am learning a lot from this talk.

May Krsna help us all to understand him better and better daily.

I just wanted to comment that, most importantly , when one understands Krsna like this, it would be easy to totally surrender to him.

Also Krsna says in BG , one who understands me. My appearances and disappearances in this world, comes to me."

So its more about becoming closer to Krsna and relishing him, glorifying him with better understanding and totally surrendering to him, its easy to do once you know how great he trully is in better realisation.

Its more than being a pundit, that's just another label.

I again pray, please Lord help me and all to come closer to you, in your service and may we share your love and greatness with all whom you send to us.

    Haribol!

    Your servant

    Kalyani

  • Hare krishna ,

The  above picture represents krishnas greatness which is just unimaginable ,the lord is really supreme and he has millions and billions of incarnations and one who understands even a tiniest fragment of his nature and position is a pundit , a knowledgeable person .

    Dandavat pranams to all

    Bhanu Kiran
