Rules

Hare krishna to all!My query is about the rules of which we, new devotees, should take care in temple or at the time of chanting/arti at home..Like, we should not do Parikrama of deities when it is their Bhog-time, at the time of bhog at home we should keep tulsi leaf on every food item, if there is combine gathering of Prabhujis and matajis at Tulsi Atri they should do parikrama in seprate group of prabhujis and matajis etc.Is all these rules are true? What is the logic behaind them? What are the other rules which we should take care?

Hare Krishna dear Deepa Ahuja Mataji, Please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Yes, without Tulasi leaves Krishna says that He won't accept anything. If one does not have Tulasi tree one should at least have the dry Tulasi stable in hand while offering. if even that is not there one have just chant the Names of Tulasi after chanting all other Prayers.
At our Temple at the time of Tulasi arati first Prabhus used to perform parikrama around Tulasi Devi then Matajis. But in big Temples with lots of Devotees Matajis do Arati to different Tulasi Prabhus to different. But singing goes on together.
It is because we should not mix with Prabhus, it is better for ones concentration on our prayer than becoming shy or disturbed by the opposite sex.
About parikrama at the time of Bhoga, i do not know. will search for it. But there are lots of such like rules and regulations just to help us more to be concentrated in our spiritual practice.
