Translation
I offer my respectful obeisances unto His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who is very dear to Lord Krishna, having taken shelter at His lotus feet.
Our respectful obeisances are unto you, O spiritual master, servant of Sarasvati Gosvami. You are kindly preaching the message of Lord Chaitanyadeva and delivering the Western countries, which are filled with impersonalism and voidism.
Srila Prabhupada is an ocean of mercy. Only by taking shelter under the lotus feet of Shrila Prabhupada can we cross the ocean of maya.I have received no formal initiation from ISKCON but I have been a constant receiver of the mercy of Srila Prabhupada since I joined the Krishna Conscious movement. Maya employed the best of her traps, but the mercy of Prabhupada has always acted as a shield. I would like to share two of my dreams with you because they are not just dreams but divine moments for me.
In one of my dreams, I had privilege of having the vision of Prabhupada. I saw that he came to the roof of our house with his disciples and chanting and dancing in ecstasy. I prostrated before him. He kept his feet over me, and instructed me to chant the mahamantra. I had not been regular in chanting. Infact I stopped chanting. But Prabhupada by his causeless mercy appeared and reminded me of my duty. I have been serious in chanting since then.
Of late, I was undergoing a deep crisis. My advancement in KC was gradually slowing down and I was encompassed with doubts and fear. Maya was all ready to crush me. But I had strong faith in Krishna that once He has brought me to the divine path , He will never leave me in the midway. This is a test which every devotee has to pass. Krishna tests how much we love Him. Lat night, once more in my dream, Prabhupada appeared. The same vision, He appeared with His disciples. I prostrated before him. He kept his hand on my head and blessed me. The moment he kept his hand, I had a transcendental feeling and all worries vanished. The morning descended with a fresh hope and divine bliss and I was feeling once more rejuvenated, free from all doubts and anxieties.
Maya can be stronger but never the strongest.The mercy of spiritual master dispels all darkness. The spiritual master is our only recourse. He is so eager to take us back to Godhead. We all have a place in his heart and when we are worried, he can't endure the pain of his disciple and comes to his rescue. If we want Krishna, we should obey our spiritual master because it is he who can give us the most precious gift of Bhakti and Prema. Jaya Prabhupada!! Jai Shri Krishna!!
