Sai Baba is a mystic yogi.
Srila Prtabhupada is our sambandh acarya, for ISKCON depends solely on the purity of Prabhupada.
Jai Shri Krishna..
Thank you..
Jai Shri Krishna..
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami is a song from Brahma Samhita derived from Text 30 and Text 32 the song is so beautiful then what to talk of the whole Brahma Samhita? My mind boggles just thinking of Krishna's description..
venum kvanantam aravinda-dalayataksam-
barhavatamsam asitambuda-sundarangam
kandarpa-koti-kamaniya-visesa-sobham
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami
TRANSLATION
I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is adept in playing on His flute, with blooming eyes like lotus petals with head decked with peacock's feather, with the figure of beauty tinged with the hue of blue clouds, and His unique loveliness charming millions of Cupids.
TEXT 32
angani yasya sakalendriya-vrtti-manti
pasyanti panti kalayanti ciram jaganti
ananda-cinmaya-sad-ujjvala-vigrahasya
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami
TRANSLATION
I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, whose transcendental form is full of bliss, truth, substantiality and is thus full of the most dazzling splendor. Each of the limbs of that transcendental figure possesses in Himself, the full-fledged functions of all the organs, and eternally sees, maintains and manifests the infinite universes, both spiritual and mundane.
Jai Shri Krishna..
Dear Romit Prabhu..
I have attempted to answer most of your questions but I'm not sure if all the answers are correct. Anybody's welcome to correct it.
Narayana: “The word narayan (नारायण) has been derived from nar (नार) [naraha (नारा:)] = apa (आप) meaning the absolute water element and ayan (अयन) meaning a place. Thus it means that the one who lives in the apa element is Narayan. The water mentioned above should not be considered as mere water. Before the earth came into existence everything was in the form of the apa element. Later it is from this that the universe was created. The origin of what we refer to as water occurred through a physical process much later. The all pervading energy which was present in the very beginning is the one referred to as water in this context. So, that principle from which the universe has been created is Narayan.’ ??
Janardana: the giver of boons
Hari: is a name of both Krishna or Vishnu meaning "he who steals, or takes away", referring to how Krishna takes away all distress and anxieties, and lovingly robs the heart of His devotee. During religious festivals it is a common occurrence to hear people call out Haribol ! Haribol ! meaning "please call out the name Hari", the Hare Krishna mantra contains the name in the vocative.
According to Adi Sankara's commentary on the Vishnu sahasranama, Hari means "One who destroys samsara", which is the entanglement in the cycle of birth and death, along with ignorance, its cause.
Vitthal: Lord Vishnu is the name for Vitthal in Kannada language (southern parts of India).
Madhava: In the Bhagavad-Gita, Arjuna address Krishna as "Madhava" (meaning "Lord of fortune and also slayer of the demon Madhu")
Vamana: (meaning a dwarf-bodied man)
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu: is the appearance of Krishna and Radha as one. Meaning of name?
Gopal: Gopal गोपाल, Origin: Sanskrit, Means protector of cows, Compounding of the Sanskrit elements Go(cow) and pala(protector)
2. Singing the Praise of Prabhupad who represents Krishna, who was and will always be the perfect devotee is giving respect to the one who opened our eyes to Krishna consciousness. Chanting Gurus name can never equate to chanting the Maha Mantra. Gurus have exhaustively given reasons to chant the Maha Mantra and not their names.
3. The Brahma Samhita- Brahma's realization of Krishna :
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami = I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord
