Lord Krishna is the madhurya(sweetness) feature of the Lord. Lord Chaitanya is the audarya(merciful) feature of the Lord. Similarly Lord Narasimha is what feature of the Lord ?

When Lord wants to protect His Devotee from demons He comes in His Narasimha Form.
For example, when Devotees were disturbed while doing Harinaam Yagya Lord Chaitanya entered into the mood of Lord Narasimha hearing 1000 Names of Lord Narasimha when Srivas thakur was resiting for protection.
So hearing those Names Lord Gauranga's eyes became red in fire and He started to roar in the streets of Mayapur. People were afraid of Him. So this lila lasted nearly for one hour if i do not make mistake.
Lord Krishna also when He wants to kill demons He enters into that angry mood and He becomes Narasimha Dev.
