Recommendation for book

Hare Krishna

I am looking at suggestion for books for my wife/kid which gives a basic insight into the authenticity of the ISKCON movement started by Srila Prabhupada and based on the past acharyas.
Even though, I had visited the museum at ISKCON Vrindavan and showed them artistic models, I think having them read via a book would help in ingraining them more deeply.
Essentially, if it has information on the discliplic succession, sankirtana movement originated by Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (references to Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's incarnation in the scriptures would be an added information)
Also, if it can be pictorial, that can help it make attractive for my 9 year old kid.

Please share references.

      parampara biographies (Guru-parampara) comes very close to what I am looking for -
      Just to add though, is there a book format ? Also, same information with pictures would help in making it attractive for my kid to read.

    Maybe you can read stories for your child.

    For authenticity maybe reading biographies on sirka Prabhupada (like Prabhupada lilamrit) would be great. I also remember the name of one book about the endeavours of devotees "I ll build you a temple- the juhu story" . Such stories are very fascinating as they depict the efforts of devotees for establishing a temple which shows their dedication. I hope this will be helpful.

      I do have the books Prabhupada lilamrit and I ll build you a temple- the juhu story.
      However, I am looking more like a basic book and focussed on the parampara information and even Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's influence on the ISKCON movement....kind of have this information go more deeply for the understanding of my wife and even for the kid.
