Rasa Lila = Sri Hari Nama Sankirtana

Many a times common people misunderstand the Rasa Lila of Krishna to be an ordinary mundane activity and offend the Lords pure pastimes. When ordinary people try to imitate this, they foolishly boil down everything to the mundane sex life without any knowledge of the shastra.

Krishna's Rasa Lila is the highest abode of spiritual love (not mundane lust as the foolish people think).
It is meant for the purified people who are free from LUST.
It is the reciprocation between the jivatma and paramatma and is purely on transcendental plane.

Some facts:
Krishna was only 8 years old when he performed this pastime.
The bodies of the gopis were on their own houses indicating that the ones with Krishna were in their pure spiritual bodies.

Once when a pious South Indian couple asked Srila Prabhupada to speak on the Rasa Lila, he replied that "You may be qualified to hear Rasa Lila, but I am not qualified to speak"..............If Prabhupada, a paramahamsa mahabhagavat tells this statement........we can understand at what level is this pastime.

Also, understanding that the people of kali yuga are so fallen and cannot digest the pure pastimes of Radha Krishna, Sri Chaitanya mahaprabhu appeared and performed the same pastime.

Sri Krishna Chaitanya Radha Krishna nahi anya.........Lord Sri Krishna Caitanya is non different from Radha Krishna.

This eternal pastime of Nama Sankirtana of Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu is non different from the Rasa Lila of Krishna.

As people of Kali Yuga mostly relate with the body, the Krishna appears as Chaitanya, Sri Radha appears as Gadadhar pandit and the eternal pastime of Rasa Lila is the Chanting and dancing of Hari Nama Sankirtana...........as people dont have any problem if males dance together, but immediately try to find fault if male and female dance together. Although, Lord is above the conception of male and female, for the benefit of the less intelligent, he and his associates appear in male forms (according to material conception) and perform this pastime of Nama Sankirtana.

So, anyone who chants the Hare Krishna mahamantra with this faith is sure to acheive the bliss of the rasa lila of Radha Krishna.

Lastly, please forgive me if I had committed any offences, but just tried to reproduce whatever I have heard in lectures and from senior devotees.

I had put this in the discussion not to openly discuss about this rasa lila (kindly dont do such discussion as there are fools like me who r not yet pure), but to get points from devotees by which people are made aware that these are not ordinary and that anyone having such inclination to hear about rasa lila will hear about Nama Sankirtana.
