Raghava's Waves of Sorrow

The deep rich voice
Of Surya Vamshi
Bellows for His beloved,
His enchantress...

"Oh Vaidehi! Oh keeper of my heart!
Where are you? I cannot see you!"
Tears of sorrow streak His reddish cheeks.
Blazing fires of agony burn His raging, sorrowful heart to crisp ashes.

Raghava sprints like a cheetah
In search of His missing piece.
His mighty hand clutches His crying heart,
Desperate to hold on to her fading presence...

His weak self clings
To a nearby tree,
Whose strong branches
Hug the trembling Sripati,
Who drowns in the waves of grief...

  • Hmm Looks like Lord Rama is enjoying the seperation mood and sulking...

The duo always enjoy seperation mood more then union.

    Lord Rama - Sita

    Lord Krishna- Radha

Lord Chaitanaya Mahaprabhu and Vishnu Priya.

Looks the the curse of Narad Muni afterall became beneficial to these duo. They love to get seperated and keep longing for reunion.

Prabhu ab nahi hota humse itta peedha sehna.

jaldi aajaiyyo. Darshan do Ghanshyam nath more akhiyan pyaasi re..

    • Oh right! The viraha premis 😂

Radha Krishna, Rama Sita, Chaitanya Vishnupriya..

Makes me wonder if Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi love Vihara more than Madhurya 😂😆

      • They love it cryrone mein bahut maza aata hai union se zyada inko.cry union hote hi .. buri nazar lag jaati hai kya karein.

lagta hai ye wahi chahte bhi hai.

        • They realize that their love is eternal but they sacrifice for some temporary adjustment for people in general. In Ramayan both Sita and Ram sacrificed living together for the preservation of Raj-dharma.

        • radha virah

  • Hare Krsna Apoorva Mataji

The title of this poem can also be, " The despair of Lord Ram "

What you have described is utter despair.

Ram seems more human than God here...

    • Hare Krishna! I hope I didn't offend anyone by making Him human like that. Ofc Rama is, was and always will be the Supreme Personality of Godhead.. sincere apologies if any vaishnava has been hurt

      • No Mataji, no offense, similar description of the despair of Lord Ram in Valmiki Ramayan also, As the Supreme Personality of Godhead in human form He can display human emotions also and that too in the superlative.

        Hari bol

        • Good to know I didn't offend anyone 😅. The poem just naturally flowed that way. Good to know Lord Vishnu can exhebit human emotions in superlative!

          Hari bol
