Question related to ramayan

Hare Krishna to all the devotees

All glories to srila Prabhupada

In ramayan, Vanar sena build the bridge to lanka by writing the name of lord Ram on the rocks and placing them on the water, then they walk on it a reaches lanka, thats what I have heard

But I have also recently heard in a video of a wellknow personality where he says that Hanuman ji was writting the name of lord Ram on rocks at the side and the rest of the sena was building the bridge but they didn't use the same stone on which RAM was written as they were devotee and would never walk on the name of lord Ram

I just wanted to know if both are complementary or what? Also I write the name "Hare Krishna" on front page of the notebook, but after sometime when they are out of use, we place them somewhere else or might throw them, so is this also an offense against the holy name? Should I stop doing it

  • Hare Krishna,

I saw the floating stone.. It is called Lava stone. I saw the perticular stone with Shree Rama name written on it .

The Floating Stones by Gauranga Darshan Das - Blog - ISKCON Desire Tree | IDT

    Jai Shree Rama

These stone called Lava stone which are formed when the Lava cools down. These stone are very light in weight.  They float on water.

Hanuman ji wrote the Lord Ram's name on each stone and Varnar sena carried them to build the bridge - True.

Can we stamp on the Lord's name.

Lord Ram gives us support to sustain on this material world or spiritual world as well.

Look at ANANTA SESHA ( he is said to be holding all planets  in the whole brahmanda on his hoods.

ANANTA-SESHA - THE SUPPORT OF THE EARTH

Ananta, or Śeṣa, is the source of the power which sustains all the planets in their different positions. Materially this sustaining power is known as the 'law of gravitation', but actually it is a display of the potency of Saṅkarṣaṇa. The entire material world is situated on the hoods of Lord Saṅkarṣaṇa.

Legend of Sheshnaag- Snake or Human?- AstroTalk.com

Whole earth as well all all planets in the entire universe are resting on the hoods of this Lord Ananta Sesha. That means we are constantly stamping HIM. Lord Ananta is the first  Plenary expansion of Lord.

SO, we are constantly walking steping on heads.. Can we remove that force that is giving us support because it is an offense to walk on Lord's hoods?

    laughing

Meru Parvat was held up by Lord Kurma and Vasuki was tied to the Meru mountain like a rope and the both ends of  Vasuki were pulled by both demigods and demons and Samdra manthan happened. .. Did the demigods feel bad that Lord Kurma's body was being used as support. Lord HImself came and sat on the top of the mountain to support churning.

You know it is said that when the churning began... My Lord's body the shell got damaged and He suffered intense pain ... But Lord never complained... Lord is like this.. laughing

I LOVE YOUR BHAAV I can understand that how can I throw this name into the trash can after I use the book.

How can they stamp on  Lord's name.

That is fine. Your bhaav is very good but there is no need to worry... everything in this world the paper.. coming from wood... the pen made of some material which is a part of the material world.. is all made by LORD

Lord is present in every part and parcel even small atom of the material has Lord's presence.

In that case.. How can you stop using it?

The very air you breathe has Lord ...the very food you are eating has Lord.

You urself has Lord inside sitting in your heart region.

You belong to Lord every part of this universe is belonging to Lord..

Can you discard using Lord and live seperately? is it possible?

Sab kuch bhagwan ka hi hai.

Your first page your last page all book is HIS.

Pen bhi unka hi hai.. paper bhi unka hi hai... tum bhi unke hi ho... ab kya hi reh gaya ki unka jo nahi hai batao?

    toh offense kaise hoga..

let us say you wrote Jai Shree Rama on a piece of paper.. and after sometime you lost the book and the book finally ended in trash. ... But the essence or bhaav with which you wrote the name... already reached the LORD. hai ki na?

because everything is nashwar.. all are bound to perish at some point of time.

Your body which you are decorating so nicely with clothes and beautifying one day that will perish. Lord is present inside the heart? it is like saying let me protect my body because it has Lord in the body.

We must not get attached to the things.. Spiritual things are not material made.. so why fear?

You wont lose anything if you crumpled the paper on which you wrote the name of Lord... because the bhaav ( emotion) which you had while you wrote the name.... already reached Lord.

    Got it?

    • Also one more which arises in my mind, I am sorry if it is offensive or rude of wrong somehow

But so the stone were floating because they were lava stone? Wasn't it because lord Ram's name was written on them? I know it's lord name which can change the nature of even stone, I have no doubt about that, so I don't know if this question is correct or not, so please clear it prabhu ji 🙏

      • there is two things involved science and bhakti.

According to science Lava stones ( pumice stones float). But these type of stones are also made by Lord Rama.

Everything is made by Lord and used in service of Lord ...that becomes bhakti

if we use for selfish purposes or my self gratification then it is science ... If the science is used to be in service of Lord it becomes bhakti.

All things which are made by Lord should be used in the service of Lord

Pumice stone even now float in water...

The vanar sena came to know these stones float and got them in seva of Lord.  This intelligience that such stones float who gave?

the intelligience was given by Lord.

Why do we always search for chamatkaar?

Everything is a chamatkaar.  Lord made such wonderful stones called Pumice stones which float on water isn't it  in itself a chamatkaar??

Each stone got Lord's name on it because these stones where very fortunate to become used in service of Lord.

There are many hard stones which couldn't be used.

Just like this.. there are many Lava stones available in many parts of the world are they having that much fortune to be able to be used in Lord's seva?

        Actually I heard that--

The stones which were hard suddenly melted and changed their form to become porous itseems to able to be used in service of Lord.

Look at these stones.. bhagwan ke liye woh melt hogayi thi..

When Lord Rama was grieving in pain thinkng about the Sita ji the stones melted and made themselves porous... and came in service to Lord.. So they are fortunate stones ..they got the name inscirbed on them.

        Just like us..

Look many people dont become an instrument for service of Lord

among thousands .. very few will become Vaishnavas.. so those who become vaishnavas become eligible to be in service of Lord on their forheads we find the tilak ( like the name inscribed on stones).. now they are called surrended devotees.

BHAGWAN Shree Raam was a human avatar and he was grieving in seperation ..many helped.. Vanar sena came in service to help Lord... Jatayu came to help.. UNKE DUKH kO DEKH PIGAL GAYE.PATHAR . made themselves PORUS.

so is this science or bhakti?

Bhaav vibhor ho ke pathhar pigal gaye aur bhagwan ko samarpit hogayi thi yeh saare ke saare Pathhar so as they surrendered to help Lord Rama they property of Lord Rama so they got the names printed on their backs. laughing Yeh bhakti hai..

ismein ek scientist ko sirf lava stone hi dikhenge..

        Ek bhakt ko bhakti dikhegi

    • Yes, I got it prabhu ji, thank you very much for clearing this doubt with such clarification, thank you very very much, HARE KRISHNA
