Dear Friends, Hare Krishna!
I was curious regarding the title "prabhupada" in Iskcon.
This question is not about Shrila Prabhupada, but his disciples.
If I may... I have only limited books at home and my online research has been a little too frustrating, so I thought I would ask my friends here on IDT.
I understand that "Bhaktivedanta" is a title given to Shrila Prabhupada by his god-brothers for his understanding that "the end of all knowledge in the Vedas is Bhakti." Also, I understand that the title "Prabhupada" means, "the Master at whose feet all other masters sit."
So, here's my question: Do the disciples of His Divine Grace Shrila Prabhupada who become Guru, also receive the title of "Prabhupada", or is this title exclusive (in Iskcon) to Shrila Prabhupada only?
As above, "Bhaktivedanta" was given by SP's god-brothers. I understand some of our Gurus have bestowed upon them similar titles, like "Acharyadev," etc.; titles bestowed by their god-brothers.
But my question is about the title "prabhupada".. is it exclusive only to AC Bhaktivedanta Swami?
I know that previous Acharyas have this title; my question is if SP's disciples who are now Guru have this title?
Thank you, ys Rankin.

Hare Krishna Bhaktin Maral Prabhu,
Yes, I have used our official Sites guide. But the other day, I actually started on the Huffington Post and drifted off to look at Yoga sites in general. Some people in this world give themselves very grand titles!
When we look at the all-encompassing knowledge that SP's Bhagavatam and all His other books and resources that He and Iskcon have to offer on the subjects of Yoga and Bhakti and Vedic Science, etc.., then it becomes a little strange to see someone in the worldly-yoga sites dressing themselves up with all-encompassing, grand titles.
Thanks for the info. We should pray that people are not lead astray by others who claim self-greatness in the spiritual arts. This human life is so rare, I just want people to be directed toward Krishna.
Hare Krishna Prabhuji. Dandavat Pranam. All glories to Srila Prabhupada
Prabhupada is exclusive to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami , as far my knowledge goes Srila Prabhupada's disciples or anyone within Iskcon don't use the title. Other devotee please confirm.

i also did not heard that some of Gurus in ISKCON has this title.
Jaya Sudipta,
I thought as much. I was surfing the net the other day, watching after Kumba Mela activities. I drifted off to various devotional and yoga sites. Sometimes it's hard to tell what sites are Iskcon, that is, efforts of devotees and disciples. Since I don't know all of our Gurus and other devotees' web efforts, I got a little confused.
Back in the day, when I was young and at Temple a lot, I learned about Shrila Prabhupada and his glories. But the "title" question is kind-of a technical thing. I figured I had missed a piece of the puzzle.
I'm sure you're right, thanks for the clarification.
God Bless... ys, Rankin.
my humble obeisances!
