Question of a friend

Hare Krishna dear Devotees

Ever since I joined this platform, I have received valuable advice from all Devotees and was able to share this with my friends.

One of my friends have a question for which I felt the devotees here would give the right solution.

My friend, who is also a krishna devotee and does 1 round of japa everyday, got a job last week through recommendation by her parent's friend who works there. She got the job of her dreams that she always looked forward to work at. However, she is not able to accept the fact that she is getting what she wants but not in the way how she wanted to get it. She always wanted to get a job by her own efforts and not through someone else. She was preparing well for the same and now she feels that her hardwork is wasted and she is not worthy of what she has got. Her work starts from next month. Till then she wants guidance as what she should do. How she should prepare her mind. She is willing to do this job. She is ready to give her best in work as she wants to respect the salary she will get paid. Only insecurity that she has is that she got this job from recommendation. She also feels that she will be looked down by her colleagues and also she won't be able to learn the work fast.

Devotees please guide her. In what perspective should she look at this phase of life? How can she be happy and focus on doing her best and excel in her job? What is the spiritual prespective of this?

      • My friend learnt about law of attraction and she says that she will learn more about it.  - the answer was given to tell you that this "law of attraction " which is famous among young generation like us, is actually useless and the one working is law of karma and love. So please learn about them.

She only fears that her colegues would look down upon her and that she will not be able to learn the work fast- I don't work in a corporate right now, but I am certain that no body likes their colleagues whether new or old. This is human nature, just do you work and interact as much as required. Of course interaction is necessary but you are not forced to befriend them I suppose.

Also if she learnt the skills of that particular sector and  as you said earlier that it was her dream job, then I don't understand why she won't learn the work!?

she is ready to give her best to whatever amount she will be earning this just solved the problem.

        Hare Krishna

        • We shall learn about this law of karma and love. Thank you so much prabhuji
