  • Q. Is Radha Rani Maa Adishakti

    A. Are you still confused about Visnu/Siva as were the people in Visnukanci and Sivakanci laughed at by Sri Nityananda? Seems so because you bring this confusion to Sakti...
This analogy should make it clear: Your mother plays different roles in her life. She 1. teaches you, 2. feeds you and 3. has intimate pastimes with your father. Thus she reflects 1. Durga devi, 2. Laksmi devi and 3. Radha devi. But while she, a jiva, can only have one form showing different moods, Sakti expands into many forms to express those moods fully with a hierarchy of bhava. Yes, it's a bit difficult to grasp because it's transcends our material experience. But it doesn't mean that She is impersonal and takes temporary forms because there would be no impetus for an impersonal non-entity to do so. The same applies to Siva, Visnu and Krisna.

    Q. Is there any verse mentioning Sri Krishna as Para Brahm(not Brahm,Ishvar or Bhagavan)

    A. Sure. SB 6.9.42, 7.15.75, 10.13.22,55, Visnu Purana 4.11.4, Satvata tantra 6.110...

    Q. Was Sri Krishna or Brahm (someone else) saying Bhagavad Gita as mentioned in Mahabharat anugita parva परं हि बरह्म कथितं यॊगयुक्तेन तन मया I discoursed to thee on Supreme Brahma, having concentrated myself in Yoga

    A. It's right in your quote, मया = Sri Krisna. If you allude to His "forgetfulness" in this passage, read what Sri Madhvacarya says in Mahabharata-tatparya-nirnaya on the apparent imperfections of the Lord:

"Hari Himself, for the delusion of the Daityas, shows sometimes ignorance, or dependence, or pain, or dismemberment, or the possession of a physical body, or the loss of it, etc., or want of capacity or suffering, or equality with, or even inferiority to others." (1.38-39)

"Through this Hari is the Lord of the Devas, and controls the entire universe, still He always does act like a feeble agriculturalist. With clouded mind, He does not know Himself; sorrowful, He searches for Sita; He was bound by Indrajit; all this and more is His play for deluding the Asuras. He becomes senseless by instrumental blow, and
has His skin cut; and blood flows. Not knowing Himself, He asks others; leaving His body, He departed to heaven. The Lord displayed all this though it didn't really exist, as if He were an actor, for the delusion of the Asuras. The devas knew this to be false." (2.81-82)

    Q. Were is classification of Puranas written in Kurma Purana or is it interpolated as said by some

    A. Kurma Purana 1.1.13-20 (All India Kasiraja Trust, 1972)

Why are you confused by "some" when we have guru, sadhu and sastra?

    Q. Why Lord Brahma Dev is not worshipped now as he was being worshipped in older yugas by asuras

    A. Due to the curse of Mohini (Brahmavaivarta Purana 4.62.41: brahmA ca mohinIM tyaktvA vizve 'pUjyo babhUva saH).

    Q. Why Sri Krishna said Bhagavad Gita in 3rd person like referring to someone else

    A. He also often uses 1st person (aham). Esp. 2.12 is important for people confused by advaita, yet using two accounts in the same forum.

    • Hare Krishna Prabhuji

Thank you for answering but I have a few doubts like

Q Is Radha Rani Maa Adishakti

I didn't get your answer on this so does this mean that Sri Radha is Maa Adishakti or form of Maa Adishakti and is she consort of Lord Shiva or whose consort is she

Q Why Lord Brahma is not worshipped

I didn't get it as when Mohini cursed him then how the asuras worshipped him

Q What is Purna Para Brahm. And  Para Brahm and Purna Para Brahm same or different and is Sri Krishna Para Brahm or Purna Para Brahm. Is there any scripture mentioning this calling Sri Krishna Purna Para Brahm

       Q Classification of Puranas

I didn't understand that whether this thing is mentioned in only one Kurma Purana by one publication or in every Kurma Purana by any publication like is this mentioned in Kurma Purana by Gita Press

      Pls clarify the above doubts

      • These are just various terms for the bhava hierarchy. Sri Krisna is paripUrnattamaH.
See quotes at the beginning of the article about avataras at my website - see my profile. The system prevents me to post link for some reason although lots of spam comes thru.

Some editions may have different numbering or come from different manuscripts so it's better to mention editions.

      • Kindly read my analogy repeatedly, think about it, discuss it with others, and if that doesn't help, pray to Sakti Ma for buddhi while doing some seva for her. That's essential for gaining buddhi.

You asked why he is not worshipped >now<; they could and did worship him earlier.
