queries about the nature of soul.

soul resides in mind and mind firmly within the body. It is where, souls meets the heart. heart where the emotions are born,in complete harmony with all the senses. sometimes it is observed that within body and mind apart from the "self", resides another "self".perhaps that self is much higher when compared to lower permanent self. when values, ethics, ego, grudge or any intense emotion comes into act. the emotion keeps repeating and comes in contact with duality at soul level. who does the soul ask questions to, within the mind.? seeking answers of our own questions to our own self, considering that there is something superior who is giving answers. does this the higher self of the self that resides within the same soul? who do we seek guidance ?by the medium of prayers. realizing all communication happens within the same mind and body. do we communicate to higher self as transportation of thoughts. not only thought travel outside but inwards too. who is thinking these thoughts? what is this process of thoughts thinking within the thoughts?? when the information is processed by body , it stores the experience inside an unknown invisible source, what is that source? transmitting one's thoughts outwards in order to cross check difference of opinion, perhaps its about exchanging information and knowledge based on different perceptions. something in mind constantly wants information . Is this information being fed to the soul? Is it later being accessed by someone beyond self or soul?

  • Atman(Soul) doesn't reside in the mind, its seat of residence is within the heart. The nature of this atman is knowledge and bliss. It is from this atman comes consciousness. Our mind, intelligence, senses are different gateways for the consciousness to come outside.

    • much thanks kishan prabhu ji. please share your thoughts on transcendental behavior.

      • That actions which pleases the Supreme Lord Sri Hari is trancendental and those actions meant for sense gratification is material. Atman is in its true nature is subservient to paramatma and thus always engaging in its service for his pleasure. However just like sometimes cloud covers the sun; similarly because the true nature of the atman is currently covered by our eternal karma (papa and punya)--> it misidentifies itself with the material body--> and thus always engages in action meant to satisfy it for temporary pleasures.
