Please explain me the importance of performing acamana and what is the correct process of doing acamana.
In one video from youtube it was suggested that,
1. we should do acamana before applying tilak, chanting Gyatri, and japa.
2. performing puja, observing fast, taking prasad, or reciting sastras or mantras
3. should not perform while standing
Please make me clear.
