Hare Krishna,
Do we have a list of the parampara that shows the names of preachers of Krishna Conciousness. Is Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is the originator of preaching or were there preachers of Krishna Conciousness before him?
Haribol!

As Srila Prabhupada writes, purport, Sb 4.17.5:
“There are four Vaisnava sampradayas (systems) of disciplic succession. One sampradaya comes from Lord Brahma, one from the Goddess of Fortune, one from the Kumaras, headed by Sanat-kumara, and one from Lord Siva. These four systems of disciplic succession are still going on. As King Prthu has illustrated, one who is serious about receiving transcendental Vedic knowledge must accept a guru, or spiritual master, in one of these four disciplic successions. It is said that unless one accepts a mantra from one of these sampradayas, the so-called mantra will not act in Kali-yuga.”
In this way Srila Prabhupada teaches us that there are four Vaisnava Sampradayas, each with a respective Sampradaya Acarya, who has commented on the Vedanta Sutra:
The Sri Brahma Sampradaya whose Sampradaya Acarya is Sri Madhvacarya.
The Sri Laksmi Sampradaya whose Sampradaya Acarya is Sri Ramanujacarya.
The Sri Kumara Sampradaya whose Sampradaya Acarya is Sri Nimbarkacarya.
The Sri Rudra (Siva) Sampradaya whose Sampradaya Acarya is Sri Visnu Swami.
Therefore there are four “Sampradaya Acaryas”, or the principal acaryas one for each Vaisnava Sampradya.
As per our movement we belong to the 'Brahma sampradaya' or elaborately 'brahma madhva gaudiya vaishnava sampradaya'. Here the word 'Brahma' signifies Lord Brahma as he the direct recipient of knowledge from Lord Krishna and the first in our chain, The Word 'Madhva' represents 'Sripad Madhvacarya' as he is the most prominent acarya of our sampradaya and 'Gaudiya' represents the significance of 'gaud desh' thats bengal where lord chaitanya appeared and propogated the sankirtan movement.
Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu comes in the brahma sampradaya and mahaprabhu were the disciple of Ishvara puri, who in turn were the disciple of Srila Madhavayendra Puri.
