This question is regaring wearing stones since at one place I read that prabhupada wore a stone.

" In the last couple of months that His Divine Grace was with us in 1977 he wore a large blue sapphire mounted on a white gold ring on the advice of an astrologer. "
Please confirm if the above is correct and if someone can throw light on prabhupada wearing stone.
Some think that we should not wear those because we have to surrender fully to Krishna.
Please guide what is the correct understanding.
