Please help me.
Jai Acharyas Hari Bol what should I do? My material family don't want me to at all become devotee. They go on blaspheming and criticising Bhakti Devi and Vaisnavas. My whole family thinks that religion means getting money, power, etc from demigods. They are polytheists. Liberation and Bhakti are done by pretenders according to them. They never want any member to become devotee or even jnani.
They think family and karma to be greater than Suddha Bhakti, Bhagavan. Parents are greater than God as they say but it is not true for parents who can't deliver children from birth and death. They instead want to entagle me in good karma. Even it is not good karma. They just want to perform duties, get material profits and blessings. They are not austere, truthful, merciful, etc. They are rude, angry, selfish, greedy, illusionised, etc. Please suggest me what to do. I have no means of livelihood by myself. I usually shut my ears when they criticise Bhakti devi. They also equate demigods with Lord Hari. PLEASE SAVE ME FROM VAISNAVA APARADHA.
How should I behave with them? Life in this Body is Seventeen years and more.
They give argument that God is everywhere. You should not be irritated. They want to blaspheme and at the same time expect respect. I am bewildered. They also say that hell, heaven, religion are mind's creation. It differs. How much mayavdi they are? They are full of smartavada.
Also, How is Lord everywhere? How he is not everywhere according to Gaudiya Vaishnavism?
Please help me.

Today is Varuthini fasting Ekadasi but a Smarta
brahmana who had more faith in his Panchanga said that
Ekadasi observed was yesterday.
I have more faith in Vaishnava calendar and vaishnavas.
He also said that Children should not do Ekadasi. But
Sanatana Goswami quotes in Hari Bhakti Vilasa that
children above 8 years can observe ekadasi.

paurah-the people of the city; ca-and;
taj-janma-dinam-on the borthday; varshe-in the year;
garbhashtame-the eighth;
gate-had come; punah-again; janmashtamim-Janmashtami;
lokah-the people; kurvantu-should do;
brahmanadayah-beginning with the brahmanas;
kshatriya-the ksatriyas; vaisya-jatiyah-the vaisyas;
sudra-the sudras; ye-who; anye-others;
api-also; dharminah-pious.
The brahmanas, kshatriyas, vaisyas, sudras, and all others
who are pious, from the age of eight years and older,
should observe this vow of Janmashtami.
Srila Sanatana Gosvami comments:
The same is true for observing ekadasi. In the
scriptures it is said:
ashta-varshadhiko balah
"Children eight years and older should also
observe ekadasi."
He said that my only duty is to worship Sarasvati.
I am not such a fool. Srimad Bhagavatam and Acharyas
say that Sarasvati is worshipped just for material
knowledge.
But all desires are fulfilled by worshipping
by Lord Krsna, then why uselessly worship demigods in
smarta style? This so-called pandita even don't know
that Lord Hari is Supreme. He even accepts that
devi-devas are equal to Supreme Lord.He does
not suggest to worship only Vasudeva instead of
worshipping demigods just for temporary material
boons or to counteract miseries.
This shows India's spiritual persons are not
Brahmana born, Panditas in name, Mayavadis,
Smartas but only Vaishnavas.

NOW SITUATION HAS CALMED DOWN. THEY DO NOT KNOW THAT I AM CHANTING. I ALSO BEHAVE OUTWARDS LIKE A MATERIALIST SO THAT THEY DO NOT CRITICISE VAISNAVAS OR BHAKTI DEVI.
IT IS ALSO MERCY OF LORD. I ONCE PRAYED TO LORD THAT PLEASE MAKE ME MORE SINCERE BECAUSE I WAS CHANTING JUST TO FOLLOW RULES. BUT BY HIS MERCY, NOW I AM MORE SERIOUS. I DON'T WANT THAT MY FAMILY GO TO HELL, I WANT THAT EVERYONE BECOME VAISHNAVA OR ATLEAST RESPECT VAISHNAVISM, THIS NEEDS PURITY AND I NEED THAT. IF I MYSELF AM PURIFIED AND INDULGE IN WORK JUST FOR LIVELIHOOD AND SADHANA, THEN WHOLE FAMILY WILL BE FILLED WITH HARI-NAMA.
JUST PRAY THAT I BECOME PURIFIED AND STOP SINNING, COMMITIING OFFENSES TO HOLY NAMES, JIVAS, BHAGAVAN, AVISHANVAS, ETC IF UNINTENTIONALLY OR INTENTIONALLY.

BETTER OPTION IS TO CONVINCE THEM PRACTICALLY THROUGH ETIQUETTE AND PHILOSOPHICALLY THROUGH SCRIPTURES. BUT THAT NEEDS TIME, MONEY AND PURITY OF DEVOTION.
USUALLY WHILE CHANTING I CLOSE MY EYES DUE TO NIGHT HOURS, IS IT GOOD? I DO NOT SLEEP WHILE CHANTING.

usually when i close my eyes even though i am alert in the beginning i become sleepy. So i try not to close them.
Very good progress! But also please be in touch with Devotees also at least on Sundays and maybe You could request for some practical service at the Temple, no?! Maybe cutting vegetables, or distributing Prasadam...and so on. It will make You dear and close to Devotees.
And also Devotees here are always happy to serve You!

You can read Srimad Bhagvatam specifically 7th Canto on Prahlada Maharaja. What you are facing is nothing in comparison to him.
The human life is very rare and is the only chance to get out of the cycle of birth and death. If your parents are not listerning, then don't force them, just preach by your actions, be more humble. Help them in daily chores but not on the cost of your daily sadhna. Get up early, chant your rounds, study SP books.....
If you are working, then you can come home late after attending evening program in your nearest Iskcon centre, tell them there is lot of work in office or if you are studying, then come home and study in your room, you can study SP books in spare time by putting SP book inside your college/school book in your spare time. These things are not be tought. Every boy knows. Still if you feel its not working, then you can leave home early and come late. For a young boy/man, home is meant only to eat and sleep.
Your parents are not wrong, they are just in ignorance like thousands of other people around, but in the heart they want to help you as per their knowledge of what actual help is. If one really wants to be KC, then Krsna Himself helps, this is being observed by everyone who is in KC. So don't worry, your parents will not crucify you like Jesus Christ.
My Guru Maharaj says, just be humble to your parents, politely say I love you, you are so kind and nice to me always, but by the way I am going to temple. Whatever they are saying to you is because either you are forcefully preaching to them or neglecting serving them. While coming/going out (to Iskcon/college/office) you can help in small household jobs. If they don't like your spiritual pursuits, then you can hide what you are doing from them easily, you can practice KC in local Iskcon temple. And when you will become successful in your studies/job/KC life, then automatically they will stop criticizing you and will follow you. Whatever you are into, work hard for serving Krsna with the fruits of your hard labour.
Hope you understand the importance of rare human life and will not divert from the goal. We have to go a long way, a advanced KC person sees every living being in any species as part & parcel of Krsna and loves them equally.

Shubham prabhu the verrry same case was with me years back exactlyyy the same things and same situations i too had to face ,,i was too troubled everyday i cried asked for help from many devotees ,situations were very criticising nobody favoured me but my will was strong and today my parents are much different from before they are not so criticising as before and this is just because of the mercy of gopala please keep your full trust on him he will surelly help u no one can stop u from loving krishna.

Your aims are very good. Carry on your studies and chanting. But don't think that-"As I'm chanting,my academic result will be good automatically." Remember that God helps those who help themselves.You should also start to learn cooking total veg bhogas for Krishna.
You had asked that ''How is Lord everywhere?'' The answer is - though Shri Krishna is enjoying his eternal pastimes in Goloka Vrindavan,he is situated everywhere(in everyone's heart and every atom) as his Paramatma(Supersoul) expansion. The fact is elaborately explained in Bhagavad Gita.

I CAME TO KNOW ABOUT VAISNAVISM IN 2010 AND READ BOOKS BY AUGUST OR LATER. IN 2011, THERE WAS 3 MONTHS HOLIDAY AFTER 10TH CLASS, I READ WITH SERIOUSNESS AND SINCERITY WITH SOME MODE OF GOODNESS AND I UNDERSTAND THAT ALL OTHER RELIGIONS ARE ON RELATIVE PLATFORM, RELIGION OF SOUL IS HARI-BHAKTI. ALL WAS GOING RIGHT. BUT SOMETIMES, MY PARENTS SAW ME READING SCRIPTURES ON LAPTOP, USING EMAIL FOR DEVOTION, ETC AND THEN MY TASTE DECREASED. I BEGAN CHANTING 1 ROUND HARE KRSNA MAHAMANTRA FROM MAY OR JUNE, 2012 ON FINGERS. BUT I QUIT AFTER 2-3 MONTHS DUE TO INTERNAL DISCOURAGEMENT. THEN I STARTED IN NIVEMBER, AGAIN LEFT. I ONCE CONCLUDED THAT MY PARENTS AND SISTER MAY GET CONVERTED SOMEDAY LIKE ME, I LEFT THINKING OF DEVOTION AND MY TASTE DECREASED.
I AGAIN QUIT CHNATING. THEN, I TOOK CHANTING AGAIN FROM 10TH MARCH, 2013 IN FEAR OF BAD MARKS IN ACADEMICS. I THINK LORD KNOWS HOW MUCH MARKS CAN MAKE ME MORE DEVOTED TO HIM. I FORGOT TO CHANT ON MY FIRST EKADASHI FAST. I AGAIN STARTED. AGAIN LEFT FOR 1 DAY. THEN I TOOK A VOW TO CHANT 2 ROUNDS AND CHANT OTHERWISE I WILL SUICIDE.
I INCREASED MY CHANTING TO 4 ROUNDS FROM 25TH APRIL BY INSPIRATION FROM ONE DEVOTEE ON FACEBOOK.
I NOW PRAY THAT RUKMANI-DVARAKADHISH AND NITAI-GAURA ALONG WITH ACHARYAS BE PLEASED AND MAKE ME AN INSTRUMENT IN SPREADING HARI-NAMA.
I DO NOT TAKE ALCOHOLS, DO NOT SMOKE, LEFT EATING MEAT, BUT EAT ONION-GARLIC COOKED BY MOTHER.
THIS IS ALSO CAUSE THAT I HAVE NOT COME TO HIGHER STAGE. MY TASTE AND REASONS TO PERFORM BHAKTI HAS DIMINISHED. MY LAZINESS IS ALSO GOOD REASON.

I WANT TO START SOMEDAY A TV CHANNEL FULL OF VAISNAVISM, DEBUNKING ATHEISM AND PSEUDO RELIGIONS-MISCONCEPTIONS AND DESCRIBING GOAL OF LIFE.
I MASTURBATED FROM LONG TIME. BUT NOW I HAVE TAKEN DEVOTION UPTO SOME EXTENT SERIOUSLY AND I DO NOT LIKE REMEMBERING SEX STORIES. I WANT TO TRANSFER LUST TO LOVE OF LORD DVARAKANAYAK AND DEVOTEES. I WANT TO COME AT MADHYAM-ADHIKARI LEVEL.

MY LAST VISIT TO ISKCON WAS IN 2009, ISKCON DELHI. I NEVER WENT AGAIN AS PARENTS DON'T ALLOW. I AM NOT EARNING. I HAVE TO DO MORE STUDYING IN COLLEGES. PLEASE PRAY THAT I GET A JOB AFTERWARDS AND PURCHASE DEVOTIONAL ITEMS AND THEN SOMEDAY TRY TO CHANT NON-DEVOTEES' HEART BY PHILOSOPHY AND SPIRITUAL SENTIMENTS BY MERCY OF LORD AND VAISHNAVAS.
I WANT TO CHANT MORE BUT I NEED TASTE WHICH CAN MITIGATE MATERIAL MISERIES, HAPPINESS AND GIVE BLISS TO ONLY HANKER FOR CAUSELESS DEVOTION.
