Out of 9 Avatars ,why do we hear most of the time about Lord Ram and Krishna only?

All Glories To Srila Prabhupada

All Glories To Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga

As per shatras , lord has been incarnated in 9 forms for benefit of devotees.But Most of the time we read/hear lilas about Lord Ram and Krishna only.Why not about other avatars? Is any specific reason behind it?

    In scriptures the number of avataras of Lord has been mentioned somewhere as 9, somewhere as 10. But as per Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.3.26, the incarnations of the Lord are innumerable, like rivulets flowing from inexhaustible sources of water. Ram and Krishna avatars are given more prominence because they displayed more aishwarya or opulence than other avatars. We focus on Lord Krishna because He is our Ishtadeva and source of all avtaras. Hence, bhakti like a pativrata wife...
