Please answer this Question. As mind is uncontrolled and therefore many times it commits offences undesirably (in thinking). Even though we do not want such thoughts, yet they come and the more we try to control it , the more it indulges us in its thoughts.
Ques 1: Are the offences done by the mind considered as if real offences? Are we committing offences in this way?
Ques 2: Is there any way to escape us from such offences by mind.

Answer to Question number 1: Are the offences done by the mind considered as if real offences? Are we committing offences in this way? My personal opinion ( experience is the best teacher is what they say ). A good example is watching x-rated movies. I put this question back to you, " Is it offensive watching porno movies? " YES! ( spiritually ) But legally, it is not. Unless you commit rape for always watching pornography. If you are a law abiding citizen what you do in public that is against the law is a real offense. But if you commit rape in your mind. You are answerable to the Paramatma ( Conscience ) which is situated in your heart.
Answer to Question Number 2 : Is there any way to escape us from such offences by mind? My personal opinion ( experience is the best teacher is what they say ). Escape from whom? From your self, your ego. I am a physician by profession. & I have treated mentally ill patients. I have observed that they escaped these offenses caused by their minds by going crazy. Because they could not take anymore, their Paramatma ( Conscience ) torturing them. Of course there are exemption. e.g Schizophrenia ( For thinking you are Krishna himself. Lol! )

Ans to ques 1 : Offences by mind towards non vaisnavas will bear no reaction.
offences by mind towards vaisnavas will have reactions ,it will obstruct your advancement for time being.
ans to ques2 : offences happen when we find faults in devotees , nobody is perfect so faults will be there , rather than criticizing devotees we should broadcast the good qualities of the devotees, or we should appreciate the devotees in our mind.
Krishna`s heart is made of devotees so finding fault in devotees means finding fault in Krishna . Be aware and wake up

Offences by the mind do not attract karma in kaliyuga. The misfortune is that whatever is in the mind normally gets converted into words and action. Therefore, if it is an offence and has come to the mind, one should be careful to avoid the thought itself. How to do that? - by constantly thinking of Krsna. Always Remember Krsna and Never Forget Krsna.
The more we engage in Krsna Conscious activities, the more our mind will be regulated and unwanted thoughts propelled by maya will not creep into our minds.

In Kali yuga offense commited by mind dont count.
