Reply by chathurdevi on June 22, 2010 at 9:56pm hare krsna matji.. im posting here watever srila prabhupad has insisted abt these four varnashramam. SB :8.2.30 Our Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement has actually declared war against the illusory energy, in which all the living entities are rotting in a false understanding of civilization. The soldiers in this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement must always possess physical strength, enthusiasm and sensual power. To keep themselves fit, they must therefore place themselves in a normal condition of life. What constitutes a normal condition will not be the same for everyone, and therefore there are divisions of varṇāśrama—brāhmaṇa, kṣatriya, vaiśya, śūdra, brahmacarya, gṛhastha, vānaprastha and sannyāsa. Especially in this age, Kali-yuga, it is advised that no one take sannyāsa. aśvamedhaṁ gavālambhaṁ sannyāsaṁ pala-paitṛkam devareṇa sutotpattiṁ kalau pañca vivarjayet [Cc. Ādi 17.164]

  • Hari Bol Sachin prabhu jee! Divorce is an artifical boundary. People have made law that supercedes the law given by Manu maharaj and by our gurus. It is lust for sex, money and material life that promotes divorce in addition to lies and character assassination. You need to get out of your 'I am married' thinking. Some people, and does not matter man or woman, white or black or brown; have inherent greed and lust. They are in majority in Kaliyuga. Every sadhu must suffer as he/she has done sin to be born in Kaliyuga - that is what I feel honestly. Wise people like Maral mata can tell better.

Maral mata - please guide here, so we do not see another helpless soul get trapped in vicious circle of karma.

    Your servant,

    Sharanagat
