Hare Krishna!
I was here before as Pankaja Dasa or Punkech, but I was away for a while. I hope I have changed a little. I was dabbling with website creation on Linux (what a painful experience, haha!) for about three weeks, and it was filled with headaches.
I decided to create a website for the Krishna book that I'm currently reading. I aimed to make it mobile-friendly, allowing for swiping through the text. The book is essentially split into swipable paragraphs, which makes it much easier to read, and you can also track your progress at the footer, showing it as 2/26 (paragraphs).
While I was converting the files (which just happened to be the original books of Prabhupada), I missed the intro and preface, so I decided to leave those out for now and include them later. Even though we might not admit it, we often just want to dive right in (I don't think I've ever read the introduction properly because I'm very impatient). However, if we are familiar with Prabhupada's books, we tend to skip over the introductions anyway. I will add them later.
This site is literally only three days old, so feel free to provide feedback (positive only, please). You can check it out at krishna.mobi. It works best on mobile phones or tablets, where you will see that it looks very nice. You can also change the font size.
I have done the Bhagavatam, but it is mostly for testing to see if it works well: krishna.mobi/books/sb.

I have the vedabase it has many recipes... but as you know im gujrati we pretty pickly about what we eat. I prefer kari-bhat dhar-bhat dhokra lol.. then wierd recipes from recipe books!
bhai punkech patel prabhu, my name is not Gayratri. it is gayatri
Plus I would like someone read the books for me page it to me for me like an audio recording.
You see when I am walking I can hear someone read whole of BG and SB and CC for me.
( rewind, fast forword, reply buttons ) and if the website would have an option like personalized where we can put the date of start and keep reading daily dose.
daily dose of audio recording of BG one sloka one sloka from SB and one sloka from CC.
Punkech patel prabhu use Akshit prabhu's voice for recording. Akshit prabhu's voice is like amitabh bachhan.
what is vedabase of recipes means?
You mean vada base ? like mendu vada base with chutney?
Punkech patel prabhu use Akshit prabhu's voice for recording. Akshit prabhu's voice is like amitabh bachhan. - this was uncalled for.
Just kidding ;-) don't take it seriously @Akshit pr. You are a kid a buddy.
I did add the auto audio read feature, but I think it's not working too well... these are the problems that happen in web building, you fix one issue, and another totally irrelevant issue pops up out of nowhere lol... but anyway..
So you would like an audio of say one chapter of gita running as audio so it auto plays say verses 1-xx. (chapter one)..
So on the front page (only), if I put too much stuff on the actual reader pages, it gets too heavy and breaks the site. I can put an option to read aloud verses or chapters as an autoplay.
(it won't move the pages, only play audio (hopefully can pop up verses, chapters too).. I think that on the front page, as an option, could work pretty well. Good idea, actually. It would be a generic voice of options to have voices (like sat-navs).. indian accest or Western English..
Add rewind, fastword is not good for a book site, it would make the site too heavily based, and it would probably crash (look around, hardly any sites offer this, if they do, they are pretty heavy)
I could put a randomiser so it plays different verses or reads chapter purports. Or only translations, etc., or only purports, etc.
I had 100 recipes I saved on my GDrive... I deleted them all. I prefer simple food.. easy to make..
I recently heared about a new AI , which offers to give voice of any character (fictional or real) to make voice overviews . Can they be used here?
I will look into it... new AI usually means $$$!
A_mere_try_If_you_like_it_okay_if_not_scrap_it
I like this female voice. Can try this one Punkech prabhu.
But Srila Prabhupada's audio recordings are available for few BG, few SB and few CC and morning walks on this website
https://prabhupadavani.org
But again the AI lady's voice is good.
I clicked on that link thinking it would be our little Akshit prabhu's voice.
