New Mobile Friendly Krishna Website www.krishna.mobi

Hare Krishna!

I was here before as Pankaja Dasa or Punkech, but I was away for a while. I hope I have changed a little. I was dabbling with website creation on Linux (what a painful experience, haha!) for about three weeks, and it was filled with headaches.

I decided to create a website for the Krishna book that I'm currently reading. I aimed to make it mobile-friendly, allowing for swiping through the text. The book is essentially split into swipable paragraphs, which makes it much easier to read, and you can also track your progress at the footer, showing it as 2/26 (paragraphs).

While I was converting the files (which just happened to be the original books of Prabhupada), I missed the intro and preface, so I decided to leave those out for now and include them later. Even though we might not admit it, we often just want to dive right in (I don't think I've ever read the introduction properly because I'm very impatient). However, if we are familiar with Prabhupada's books, we tend to skip over the introductions anyway. I will add them later.

This site is literally only three days old, so feel free to provide feedback (positive only, please). You can check it out at krishna.mobi. It works best on mobile phones or tablets, where you will see that it looks very nice. You can also change the font size.

I have done the Bhagavatam, but it is mostly for testing to see if it works well: krishna.mobi/books/sb.

                  • Well we can definitely get punkech prabhuji's voice , of anyone else's. But I don't think my voice will suit.

                    • If you like it then good, I tried one although I don't like it's pronounciation of Sanskrit words, I think to let them pronounce sankrit words properly we have to change their spellings. Like rather than writing siva we have to write shiv .

                    • it took some tweaking.. but it works better then paid or google lol..

                    • Which site is this?

                    • try this test page (only testing)

                      gita audio verses only

Hard to find a good voice agent online thats free. I tried google AI voice it was pretty bad.. the paid ones are good but alloys like 1000 words

              • Well I checked it was called soulX , but it's for singing voices, not going to work. Although there are other apps like elevenlabs, and others which are free.
