I am wondering is it wrong to have other deities in your home other than Krsna? I have reread the Ramanya and I feel drawn to Sri Hanuman. I Know that Lord Krsna is the Supreme Lord. But is it wrong to offer prayers to Lord Hanuman? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I too do not agree at all with the statements made here by hanuman bakht. No one can tell me anything different about my Lord Krsna... He was not human! Sri Krsna is the Supreme Lord of the whole universe. The first and last , the alpha and omega... And to state anything different is blasphemy in my humble opinion.
As the starter of this discussion I feel it would be good if this discussion was closed before any other "newbies" are led astray from the truth... The postings are dangerous...

ultimate truth is lord vishnu , who come on earth to maintain peace and established dharma. parshuram was his incarnation but just part of his yog shakti...he himself came on earth as lord rama and lord krishna to perform his lila . he take incarnation according to condition on earth. dwapar yuga was the yuga where durodhyan like sinner was staying and he was well supported by great warriors like Karna , bhishma , dronacharya ...so it was necessary for lord vishnu to appear on earth to control his nature with his yogic shakti....and born as Lord krishna , and he was with 16 Kala...he had sudarshan chakra as a weapon but he himself never fight in mahabharata...he guided his devotee arjuna.... Lord krishna , lord rama are one.....lord rama set the example for man without showing magic that a simple human can live a life that seem very far from his hand but still he can do it.....he just follow dharma , truth....in krishna's time....politics was every where...they were not engaged in straight fight but a politics....so krishna can be called as a great politician...

I am very happy to know that you are devotee of lord krishna who is himself an incarnation of lord rama. And this is beauty of ramayan to attract people towards lords feet. you must pray lord hanuman as he is a sincere devotee of lord rama. here you must not make any difference between lord rama and lord krishna . both are form of lord vishnu , a supreme power. in Bhagwad geet , lord krishna says if a person worship me I am pleased with his devotion but if same person worship my devotee I will be more pleased with his/her devotion for my devotee as my devotee never perish in this word. worshiping lord hanuman himself you can come close to lord krishna in very less time as you pray to lord krishna. lord hanuman is also present in this kaliyuga and he can guide you to reach lord krishna himself.
first chant name of krishna or rama then pray to lord hanuman. you read hanuman chalisa on tuesday and saturday or sunderkand on tuesday or saturday. jai hanuman...jai shri ram....I hope you will find blessing for lord krishna if you pray to hanuman that is beauty of lord hanuman.

Sorry Prabhu Ji, but Lord Krishna is not an incarnation of Lord Rama or Lord Vishnu. Lord Krishna is the original Personality of Godhead. All incarnations such as Lord Rama, Lord Vishnu, Narashima emanate from him.
Srimad Bhagavatam 1.3.28:
ete camas kala pumsah
krsnas tu bhagavan svayam
indrari vyakulam lokam
mrdayanti yuge yuge
“All the incarnations are either plenary portions or portions of the plenary portions of the Lord but Lord Sri Krishna is the original Personality of Godhead. All of them appear on planets whenever there is a disturbance created by the atheists. The Lord incarnates to protect the theists.”
Brahma Samhita(5.1) also states:
īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ
sac-cid-ānanda-vigrahaḥ
anādir ādir govindaḥ
sarva-kāraṇa-kāraṇam
Kṛṣṇa who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes.

God came on earth as human being and after performing his duites he went back t his venkunth dham. you know god never die or can be killed . krishna is supereme incarnation or lord rama or lord vishnu . all are one. krishna says in bhagwad gita that hey arjun, I am the supreme power of universe. I remember my all birth. in tetrayuga I was known as lord rama. any ways, at the last when krishna was resting under the tree , he was killed by a hunter. do you think any god can be killed by any one. this happened because supreme power came on earth as a human being and if you says krishna is pram brahma nothing wrong but don't make any difference between lord rama , krishna , vishnu , shiva. all are one. vihsnu is ultimate truth and he come on earth to maintain peace , dharma in form of human being. example : lord rama to kill ravana and establish dharma , lord krishna to maintain balance on earth between evil and good powers.....

Its a great offense to think Krishna as ordinary human. I simply can not think of a greater offense than that. Krishna is not an ordinary human being. How can you think that Krishna is contradicting Himself in His own statements in Bhagavad Gita? It is your concoction. Krishna is the Absolute Truth, His Body, Mind and He Himself are One and Absolute. As Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita 9.11:
"Fools deride Me when I descend in the human form. They do not know My transcendental nature and My supreme dominion over all that be."
Also Krishna says that His pastimes are only understandable by pure devotees. SO who are we to make a comment or a concocted view on Krishna's pastime of disappearance. That's why we should take to what other pure devotees have said.
Srimad Bhagavatam 11.31.11 states — My dear King, you should understand that the Supreme Lord's appearance and disappearance, which resemble those of embodied conditioned souls, are actually a show enacted by His illusory energy, just like the performance of an actor. After creating this universe He enters into it, plays within it for some time, and at last winds it up. Then the Lord remains situated in His own transcendental glory, having ceased from the functions of cosmic manifestation.

Krishna in Vrindavan is like God at home, while Krishna, as Vishnu in various Vaikuntha planets, is like God at office. A person at home is most comfortable and relaxed and has intimate loving dealings with his family members, while at office he has very formal dealings with his associates. Similarly in Vrindavan, all the Vrajavasis have very intimate dealings with Krishna in sakhya (friendship), vatsalya (parental) or madhurya (conjugal) rasas. No one there is aware of Krishna’s supreme position as God that usually results in very formal and reverential dealings. In the Vaikuntha planets, however, all the residents are always aware of Vishnu’s supreme position as the controller and maintainer of the whole creation. Therefore, all their dealings with Him—including those of sakhya, vatsalya and madhurya are tinged with the feelings of awe and reverence.
So, from an impartial study we can see that Krishna’s pastimes are more sweet and enchanting than those of Vishnu. In that sense, Krishna is superior to Vishnu.
Krishna also has four additional unique qualities not found in Vishnu. Srila Prabhupada explains them in The Nectar of Devotion:
1.Lila-madhuri—He is the performer of wonderful varieties of pastimes (especially His childhood pastimes).
2.Bhakta-madhuri—He is surrounded by devotees endowed with wonderful love of Godhead.
3.Venu-madhuri—He can attract all living entities all over the universes by playing on His flute.
4.Rupa-madhuri—He has a wonderful excellence of beauty which cannot be rivaled anywhere in the creation.”
Brahma-samhita compares Krishna to a candle from which several other candles are lit. These candles are compared to Lord Vishnu and the various incarnations. Diparcir eva hi dasantaram abhyupetya . . . . (Bs. 5.46) Although all candles have the same potency, the original candle still retains its uniqueness. Krishna is like that original candle, the source of all the incarnations.
In Brahma’s prayers to Lord Krishna, in a later portion of the Bhagavatam, He continues to explain, “Are You not the original Narayana, O supreme controller, since You are the Soul of every embodied being and the eternal witness of all created realms? Indeed, Lord Narayana [Maha-Vishnu] is your expansion, and He is called Narayana because He is the generating source of the primeval water of the universe. He is real, not a product of Your illusory Maya.” (Srimad Bhagavatam10.14.14)
“Karanarnavashayi Vishnu [Maha-Vishnu] is the first incarnation of the Supreme Lord, and He is the master of eternal time, space, cause and effects, mind, the elements, the material ego, the modes of nature, the senses, the universal form of the Lord, Garbhodakashayi Vishnu, and the sum total of all living beings, both moving and nonmoving. (Srimad Bhagavatam 2.6.42)
