My feet firmly fixed in the material world,
mind always looking for an excuse to stay away from Krishna,
I wonder if remembering Krishna's name at the time of death
is my only hope,
No anarth Nivrtti, no taste, no bhava, for me.............ever.

You are not alone Prabhuji in this.
It is true we are too weak in controlling our senses and thinking of Krishna without the help of Krishna.
Because of that we have to have faith in His power. And be happy that He will help us to remember Him and to reduce our material desires. So for that we have to be very happy. And always hope.
In the other hand You are telling that You do not have taste which means You already tasted the taste of the Holy Names because of that talking about that.
It is true when Krishna sees our hard efforts for few days He lets us to taste some taste of the Holy Names. That time we become very happy and our faith do not know any bounds. But after some time we start to become proud and we loose that taste and again start to struggle in chanting.
So only by Krishna mercy we will get the taste. When He is pleased we will get taste. When He is happy He will enter into our heart and we will feel His sweetness otherwise no other way.
So please, let's be in the association of Devotees no matter we have taste or not and cultivate desire not to get even taste but to give pleasure to Krishna and to His Devotees.
