Hare Krishna devotees, Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I am new to iskcon but I don't know my mind gets more attached to Lord Vishnu than Lord Krishna. I think my heart wants to follow dasya rasa to Lord Vishnu but I also want my heart to follow sakhya ras to Lord Krishna, Should I chant Om Namo Narayan more or Hare Krishna Mantra more, right now my mind gets more attracted to Lord Vishnu and very little bit to Lord Krishna. Can't a soul change its swarupa because Vaikuntha only has Dasya rasa but not sakhya ras, I want both. How should I do my sadhna.

Thanks devotees and please answer my humble question.

            • Yes Mataji

            • 1 more thing mataji, if I don't have a spiritual guru or family guru, then how do I make one ? as I am from devotee family but not vashnavite devotee family.

            • Hmm. first decide on which Samradaya are you interested. If you are interested in Gaudiya Sampradaya or Sri Sampradya.

              • Mataji, i think for now I will go for sri sampradya so how I find a guru ? thanks for your humble response.

            • No Mataji

You did not make any error although it appears to be typo.

That is what I am trying to say that there is no coincidence in it also.

Please read SB 11.12.14-15 along with PURPORT. It is taking the discussion to a whole new level. In this verse, Lord Krsna is hinting that Uddhava should assimilate the example of the gopis and try to advance further in Krsna consciousness by following in the footsteps of the cowherd damsels of Vraja.

Among all the devotees, the gopis of Vrndavana were described by the Lord as having achieved such a rare state of pure devotional service that Lord Krsna personally feels constantly indebted to them. According to Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura, Lord Krsna previously kept the gopis love for Him concealed in His heart because of its confidential nature and the Lord's own gravity. Finally, however, even Lord Krsna could not remain silent about the intense love of the gopis, and thus in these verses the Lord reveals to Uddhava how the gopis loved Him in Vrndavana and brought Him fully under their control.

              SB PURPORT of 11.12.14-15

I have already posted the Translation of SB 11.12.14-15 which is the ultimate conclusion for this discussion.

    • At this point I'm ready to serve lord krishna/ vishnu as both friend and servant. Both gives me bliss but being servant gives me more bliss because I am making him happy, I also need lord to be my friend also though. So what mantra should I practice?

    • So dear devotee which mantra should I practice for now?? Pls tell

      • Hmm

as you feel attracted to Lord Vishnu more.

You must approach a Sri Vaishnavite and take his shelter and accept him as a guru and take the initiation from him and start chanting Ur istha dev mantra. " om namo narayananaya"

for now -  just learn Vishnu Sahasranama and keep chanting the 1000 names of Lord Sri Vishnu.

Which also I would suggest you to start after taking bath only.

Lord Vishnu requires sanctity and spirituality the most important .. You must be pure inward and outwardly. Lord is very strict :-)laughing at the same time very kind and generous.

        Cleanliness is next to godliness.
Mata Laxmi ji  requires Super cleanliness.

Vaikuntha jana hai toh aapko supere clean rehna hoga.. Laxmi  is the swamini of Vaikuntha.
Ghar aisa wiase na ho.. poora clean

        Tulasi maiyya ki seva ho

Lord Vishnu is always decorated in big big garlands of TUlasi ..

        Tulasi ki roj seva ho.

Ghar mein mandir mein diya aarti .. dhoop deep teekh se karna.  bhog bhi theek taak hona chahiye.. Laxmi ji will recommend your name to Lord. gives entrance to Vaikuntham. Unke ghar ko jaana hai toh unke niyam kaanoon poora follow karna hoga.

        Hare Krishna.
