Hare Krishna devotees, Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I am new to iskcon but I don't know my mind gets more attached to Lord Vishnu than Lord Krishna. I think my heart wants to follow dasya rasa to Lord Vishnu but I also want my heart to follow sakhya ras to Lord Krishna, Should I chant Om Namo Narayan more or Hare Krishna Mantra more, right now my mind gets more attracted to Lord Vishnu and very little bit to Lord Krishna. Can't a soul change its swarupa because Vaikuntha only has Dasya rasa but not sakhya ras, I want both. How should I do my sadhna.

Thanks devotees and please answer my humble question.

          • I just now read Krishna das prabhu ji

Texts 14-15: Therefore, My dear Uddhava, abandon the Vedic mantras as well as the procedures of supplementary Vedic literatures and their positive and negative injunctions. Disregard that which has been heard and that which is to be heard. Simply take shelter of Me alone, for I am the Supreme Personality of Godhead, situated within the heart of all conditioned souls. Take shelter of Me wholeheartedly, and by My grace be free from fear in all circumstances.

Looks like Lord wants to say something that Leave all vedic mantras just follow only me.laughing

            • Yes Mataji

            • 1 more thing mataji, if I don't have a spiritual guru or family guru, then how do I make one ? as I am from devotee family but not vashnavite devotee family.

            • Hmm. first decide on which Samradaya are you interested. If you are interested in Gaudiya Sampradaya or Sri Sampradya.

              • Mataji, i think for now I will go for sri sampradya so how I find a guru ? thanks for your humble response.

                  • How did you get to know which sampradaya he is from? Also mataji isnt it wrong to listen to lectures of someone, with due respect to the saint, who is from another sampradaya?

                    • BG 1.20 PURPORT

Now both Rāma and Hanumān were present on the chariot of Arjuna to help him. Lord Kṛṣṇa is Rāma Himself, and wherever Lord Rāma is, His eternal servitor Hanumān and His eternal consort Sītā, the goddess of fortune, are present.

Also maybe you can still chant hare Krishna mahamantra because although hare means srimati Radha Rani, since you are a devotee of lord Ram when you will chant hare ram, there for you hare would mean mother Sita and Ram will be Sita var lord Ramchandra

As for people who are more attracted towards Krishna, Ram in mahamantra means Radhika raman ram (he who gives pleasure to even Radha Rani i.e. Krishna)

                    • Ok mataji, sorry I didn't wanted to hurt your feelings of anything

                    • Yes mataji you are right thank you so much for your humble responses and clearing of my doubts, may Lord Narayan bless you with more bhakti, thank youu , Jai sri krsna

                    • Hare Krishna AADIT PRABHU,

Listen......... your main goal is Vaikuntha or Goloka?

or Main Goal is to Please Lord ( whoever it maybe Lord Krishna or Vishnu)

For me even if I am put in Hell ... I don't mind.  As long as there is Lord Sri Krishna's name on my Lips.. It doesn't matter for me if it is Vaikunta or Goloka.

MY MAIN GOAL IS ONLY TO CHANT .. I LOVE CHANTING LORD's NAME.

FIRST TRY TO CHANT WITH LOVE FOR WHATEVER FORM OF LORD
LATER WE WILL THINK ABOUT YOUR DESTINY

PEHLE KARMA KARO CHANTING KARO... PEHLE HI MUJHE VAIKUNTH CHAHIYE YA GOLOKA CHAHIYE>> ??

                      Lord KRISHNA says in BG-

                      कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन |
                      मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि || 2. 47 ||

You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.

My duty is to please Lord whatever the form IT MAYBE.

MY MAIN GOAL IS NOT GOING TO VAIKUNTHA OR GOLOKA

EVEN IF I AM ON EARTH ALSO MY LIPS SHOULD NOT LOSE THE LORD's name That is my only priority right now.

                      Hare Krishna
