This is given in the Sikshastaka or 8 instuctions of Maha Prabhu.
First instruction is to perform Sri Krishna Sankirtana or Harinam nagar Sankirtana.
By following the 1st instruction, it will elevate one to the 2nd, 3rd.. untill 8th.
Only way to reach this 8th stage is by following the first 7 instructions.
No other way was taught by Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

ps. Thakur ji ? meaning Lord Krishna. I have not heard before Krishna referred to as Thakur ji.
If you are talking about some other guru like Swaminarayan, then kindly ignore my answer.
