It shows how scriptures and Sadhus words are always correct. Money has no use except maintaining body and soul together to progress in KC. This man Bill Gates spoiled all his life to make such amount of money now he is saying it is of no use except food and shelter..ha ha ha

There is no wrong in earning money,but the question is for what cause? You just keep on earning money at the cost of others is not good.Its like exploiting people.First you take all the wealth and everything from a person and make him a beggar and then you become charitable by giving him Rs. 10,this material social service is just like that.
But still it is nice that he is doing something,but it will be better if he goes to meet,Ambrish Prabhuji,disciple of Srila Prabhupada and grandson of Ford.He will tell him how to do much better service by serving Krishna,if you have a lot of wealth.

Bill Gates is an ideal example of what is explained in Gita, a LOTUS, he belongs to the business community which is so involved in making money and is shrude to the core. If you read the article carefully, it basically talks about how unattached he is to his wealth. Like a lotus he is actually part of muddy waters but he is always above them so the muddy waters of greed and shrudeness of the business community has not touched him.
That is all he means by saying that it is actually of no use, as he is now engaged in the process of ridding himself of all the money in the hope of extending the lives of others less fortunate than himself.
The amount of philanthrophic work he has done can put anyone to shame. He is not involved in frivolous partying and entertaining hollywood crowd, like Amabanis do. He is only utilising his hard earned wealth in doing good work for others.
