To my knowledge, moksha is liberation.

We (devotees in the path of bhakti) do not ask the Supreme Lord for moksha. An example that sticks out in my mind is the Great Sri Prahlada Maharaj. When Lord Narasingha finished with Sripad Prahlada Maharaj's father, the Lord asked Prahlada what he wanted for his service.

Prahlada said (paraphrasing) "My Dear Lord, I do not wish to do business with you." His conception of His Eternal Position is the highest conception. He could have asked for moksha, but instead asked for Bhakti (Krsna Prem).

I hope this helps you my friend.

    Your Aspiring Servant
    David
