Hare Krishna Everyone, PAMHO
I came across a personality entitled as "Jagadguru", I used to think this title is only used for Krishna and Srila Prabhupada but now on seeing this I am wondering on who is called a jagadguru?, what basis do we decide who is a jagdguru and whom to consider a jagadguru.
Thanks a lot! To consider my question worthy enough to be answered and giving your precious time in answering this post!!
Seeker of your vaisnav blessings and your humble servant,

Hare Krishna!
According to the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita and the Srimad-Bhagavatam, the title of Jagadguru, or spiritual master of the entire world, can be given to a person who is fully qualified in spiritual life and knows the science of Krishna. One who teaches the instructions of Krishna as it is, on behalf of Krishna, may be accepted as Jagadguru.
However, it is important to note that one cannot become Jagadguru simply by advertising oneself as Jagadguru without knowing the essential principles for becoming Jagadguru. Even people who never see what a Jagadguru is and never talk with other people become puffed-up sannyasis and declare themselves Jagadgurus.
Therefore, it is essential to carefully examine the qualifications and teachings of a person claiming to be a Jagadguru before accepting them as such. The proper use of the titles goswami and Ohakura can also indicate the rank of a spiritual master. Ultimately, it is the teachings and character of a spiritual master that should be the basis for considering them as a Jagadguru.
Hare Krishna PAMHO,
That certain personality is a mayavadi! And pardon me prabhuji but we often use "Jagadguru Srila PRabhupada KI JAI" and there is a shloka "Krishnam vande jagatgurum"
If possible please clear my above written doubts.
Thanks for responding.
