why is it that when you now maya will give you temporary happiness and to serve krishna will give you permanent happiness still you choose maya instead of krishna

PAMHO.
That is why we are conditioned souls - conditioned by maya (illusion) to accept the temporary, which we can see and reject the permanent, which we have not tasted as yet. The soul needs a vehicle to act - that vehicle is the body. The body is under the 3 modes of material nature, which is again maya. We are bound by the shackles of sattva, raja and tamo guna.
