Hare Krishna. I am a new devotee and had some questions about the health care issue in the United States.
Srila Prabhupada speaks of the downfall of Marxisim. Many people believe that if the country changes to a state-sponsored health care system, then that would be a lean towards the left. But if the material body is too ill or in disrepair and cannot afford the services of privatized health care, how is one to spread the message of Krishna consciousness?

we become sick, or some other problems are there just because we are not Krishna Conscious.
when we just take care of Krishna by chanting His Names then we can easily pass problems.

I have little doubt about your reply.Do you want to say that those who are krishna-consciouss, never become sick? But we know that many purified devotees of iskcon became seriously ill several times..I know one very respected GBC of iskcon, who are almost bed-ridden,can not walk,dance and can not sing kirtana or can not clearly talk to other devotees.Even srila probhupada, we know,had become very seriously sick many times.I have read that these 'adhymattik tap' comes from bad work in our previous life.But those are also become minimised by mercy of lord krishna if we chant mohamontro all the while.Then why those most purified devotees suffer too much from painful diseases?

yes, in the Ocean of the Holy Names HH Sachinandana Maharaj says that sickness is an obstacle. It is very bad obstacle in our spiritual life.
For example, i often get cold and it becomes difficult to chant nicely,very bad feeling.
But determination means whatever is there i will chant and follow all instructions of my Gurudev.
And Krishna sees not the quantity of our service but the quality of it. If we chant even though we do not feel taste for chanting but we struggle that en-devour pleases Krishna.
Sickness in Devotees' life come not because of their sins which they already washed away by the power of the Holy Names but by the mercy of Krishna. It is His exams and He wants to see our determined steps towards Him.

Why does Krishna sometimes test pure devotees? Doesn't Krishna know they are already pure by heart?
maybe to show example of tolerance to others using His strong Devotee.
"see, you have to be like this! see, and learn how to tolerate and depend on My mercy..."
i do not know why, but i only think like this.
Krishna is a Person and His acts are not predictable. in order to understand Him we have to become pure.
Sometimes our Gurudev becomes sick because of our sins and offenses. In this way we have to be very serious.

Hare Krsna Prabhu. Devotees do not worry about all these things concerning State system. They simply eat Krsna prasadam, depend on Krsna and carry on with the distribution of Krsna Consciousness.
