Hare Krishna and dandavat pranam to all prabhujis and matajis! Recently, one of my friends gave me a Bhagavad Gita , published by Ramkrishna Mission which had the worst purports (because they were written by impersonalist sannyasins or Mayavadis). I give example of one such verse-
Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12 Verse 8
Prabhupada's book-
mayy eva mana adhatsva
mayi buddhim nivesaya
nivasisyasi mayy eva
ata urdhvam na samsayah
SYNONYMS
mayi--unto Me; eva--certainly; manah--mind; adhatsva--fix; mayi--upon
Me; buddhim--intelligence; nivesaya--apply; nivasisyasi--you live;
mayi--unto Me; eva--certainly; atah urdhvam--thereafter; na--never;
samsayah--doubt.
TRANSLATION
Just fix your mind upon Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and
engage all your intelligence in Me. Thus you will live 'with Me' always,
without a doubt.
In the book of R.K.M., instead of 'with Me', it was written 'in Me'. This shows how they try to merge with Krishna instead of taking the path of devotional service. They deny the existence of Goloka and seek to merge with the impersonal Bramhajyoti of Krishna.
Make sure, all of you buy the authentic version of Bhagavad Gita which is 'Bhagavad Gita as it is' by Srila Prabhupada .
