Do's and Don't during Eclipse 1. During Suutak and Eclipse, bath, donating,jaap, paath, mantra and stotra paath, mantra sidhi, Teerath snaan, meditation, havan, kirtan is very auspicious and beneficial. 2. One should try best to take sankalp before Sunrise of Apr.4, and as per advice of pujari, as per your zodiac, should collect items to donate and after eclipse is over, or else next day after taking bath during Sunrise, should donate those items to an able brahmin. 3. During suutak and grehan, do not cut nails, do not touch deities, do not eat non required food, do not have any sexual relation, do not sleep, do not apply oil, do not lie, do not do conspiracy, do not do useless talking, do not use toilet unless necessary. 4. During Suutak kaal ( not during Eclipse) children, old aged people, sick people and pregnant females can be offered favorable food, medicines and there is no dosh in it. 5. Before suutak or Eclipse start, it is best to keep leaf of kusha/ Tulsi Leaf in milk, yogurt,pickles,chutneys,murabba, as due to it these foods don't become duushit.
