Lord Siva

We all know that Lord Siva is greatest vaisnava and so dear to pure devotee and Krishna.

In srimad bhagavatam Krishna says that if devotee  dont worship Sri Siva,He will not accept your worship.

So can anyone tell me why we in iskcon temples dont adore him?

Why there isnt no Siva bhajans?

Why there isnt no Siva offerings?

Hare Krishna Dean Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Please bring verse in which place of Srimad Bhagavatam Lord Krishna says about worshiping Lord Shiva!

As i know in Bhagavad Gita He says 'one will go to that personality to whom he worships. Demigod worshipers will go to their planets. Pita worshipers will go to Pitrloka. ...but one who worships Me will come to Me.'

So Lord Shiva resides in Kailash, so if one wants to be in Kailash then he can worship Lord Shiva. And in Kailash everyone has female body except Lord Shiva...

Lord Shiva came as Hanuman and showed us example of to whom to worship - to Lord Rama or Krishna so we follow his example.

Lord Krishna creates unlimited lord Shivas so if we just worship Lord Krishna we will please not only one Shiva of this universe but all those unlimited Shivas in other universes also.

    Your servant,

This is a fantastic question, hopefully I can guide you properly.

Srila Prabhupada mentions in the Krsna book (when Nanda Maharaja and the inhabitants of Vrindavana wished to see the festival of Shiva Ratri) that Vaishnavas generally do not partake in the worship of Lord Shiva.

Demon Sankhacuda Killed - taken from Krsna Book (Chapter 34.)

“Once upon a time, the cowherd men of Vrindavana, headed by Nanda Maharaja, desired to go to Ambikavana to observe the Siva-ratri ceremony. The rasa-lila was performed during the autumn, and after that the next big ceremony is Holi, or the Dolayatra ceremony. Between the Dolayatra ceremony and the rasa-lila ceremony there is one important ceremony called Siva-ratri, which is especially observed by the Saivites, or devotees of Lord Siva. Sometimes the Vaishnavas also observe this ceremony because they accept Lord Siva as the foremost Vaishnava. But the function of Siva-ratri is not observed very regularly by the bhaktas, or devotees of Krishna.

Under the circumstances, it is stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam that Nanda Maharaja and the other cowherd men “once upon a time desired.” This means that they were not regularly observing the Siva-ratri function but that once upon a time they wanted to go to Ambikavana out of curiosity.”

The essentiality of the subject matter is that if ISKCON worships Lord Shiva and Lord Krsna too, then how can anybody make the difference between who is God. It simply becomes another Hindu temple with a bunch of "Gods"... So in ISKCON, we do not worship Lord Shiva in the altar, but we constantly remember him (even the Srimad Bhagavatam is filled with praise for this most sincere devotee of Krsna) and his pastimes, some ISKCON temples worship him during Shiva Ratri, and we all respect and pray for his blessings that one day we can somehow serve Krsna and be dear to Krsna even in the smallest of fractions as he is to Him. That is the nature of a devotee.

Now, if you come across a devotee blaspheming Lord Shiva, immediately request him to stop and/or leave the place instantly... Insulting Lord Shiva is Vaishnava Appradha and it has to be avoided at all costs.

Hopefully in this little post of mine I did not commit any Vaishnava Appradha, and if I did I sincerely ask the forgiveness of all devotees :)

Krishna clearly stated that he is Lord Siva, so how can we say that we are not offering anything to Siva, if we offer anything to Krishna, we have offered it to everyone not only Siva,

Krishna is source of everything, so if we water roots of plants the whole plant get it, then what is use to water the leaves ??

BG 18.66: Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.

Here again Krishna clearly says this ...  Just surrender to Me, and do not worry about anything.

All Occupational duties are meant to just to please Krishna

BG 15.15: I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedānta, and I am the knower of the Vedas.

BG 15.19: Whoever knows Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, without doubting, is the knower of everything. He therefore engages himself in full devotional service to Me, O son of Bharata.

BG 15.20: This is the most confidential part of the Vedic scriptures, O sinless one, and it is disclosed now by Me. Whoever understands this will become wise, and his endeavors will know perfection.
