I have a question about Lord Jagannath and Snana yatra.
Why Lord Jagannath is in this days with elephant form (hathi vesha)? What exactly means that?
What happen to Him?

As far as I have heard from devotees, Once there was a devotee of God who always thought Supreme Lord must be in the form of an elephant. So when he went to Jagannathpuri, he wanted to see Lord Jagannath. since he had so much faith that Supreme Lord is in form of an elephant, so Lord Jagannath manifested the form of an elephant to show him that indeed Supreme Lord is in the form of an elephant. Since then , Lord Jagannath is adorned with Gajawesh (Elephant dress) on this occasion every year.
