Harihar bol..
I Have Heard a Very Nice Story....
Plz do not ask where it is written.... or dn't ask for any references
At Lord Shiva's Marriage's Mandap Pandit ji Asks mahadev...About his father's name... mahadev's Confused...n Says His name is Lord Bramha...
den pandit Ji Again asks what's your grand father's name...Mahadev again Confused...n Says Lord Vishnu...
Pandit Then asks who is The Father of Lord Vishnu... mahadev says "Vishnu Bhagwan k Pita Hum hai..."
then Mahadev explains by Saying that we Tridev's are Equal... If anyone try to find difference among us. He cannot ever get our devotion.
Lord Bramha = Lord Vishnu = Lord Shiva
Mahadev Said "Ram bhajat jo Kare vilambh taahi na milahi shambhu avlamb"
Shri Ram Said "Shiv Drohi mam Das Kahava So na Sapnehu Mohi na bhava..."

well well well Prabhuji lemme Clear.... Ganesha is Worshiped First of All Because of his Goodness not because He is Shivputra... Don't Forget when he was not treating good.... When he was Full of Ego....it was Lord Shiva Himself who Punished Him by Cutting his Head with The Divine Trident.
btw I am Not saying who's the Father or Who's the Son....
My First Comment says Tridevs were Never Born.... Shiv is Anadi n Anant just Like Shri Hari and Brahma Ji....
Ok I Quit.... but for me Treating Shiva and Shri Hari Separate is a Greatest Sin. I Admit both are Separate Lord Vishnu is The Preserver and Shiva is The Destroyer. but Neither Shiva is Demi god Nor Vishnu is Demi god.... both are Supreme...
There's a Story of Shri HariHara
The devas had looked upon the earth, and were horrified by the terrible state it was in- everywhere there was greed, war and unhappiness. Vice and sin ran rampant among people. Confused as to how things could have become like this, they approached Vishnu to seek answers. Vishnu said to them as they assembled, "Let us go to Shankar, for He is wise!"
Vishnu led the demigods up the icy slopes of Mount Kailash, but saw no one there. Amidst the rocks and snow, there was no sign of Shiva or Parvati, or even Nandi. The baffled gods searched for a sign of Shiva until Vishnu came to them and said, "My beloved, your selfishness has made you blind, for Hara is here! You must purify yourselves- bathe in milk, sing the Satarudriya hymn, and take only hot milk for 3 days, and your eyes will be opened." They followed his instructions, but after 3 days they still could see no sign of Shiva. They cried out, "O Jagannath, Lord of the World, where can we find Shankar?"
At that, Vishnu pointed to his chest. "He is in me, as I am in him. Can't you see that?" As he spoke, he revealed his lotus heart, and as the petals opened, the sacred Lingam could be seen in the middle. The gods fervently worshipped the lingam, bathing it in milk, covering it with vermillion and sandalpaste, offering flowers and chanting the 1008 names of Shiva. But through this, they were still disturbed- How could Hari and Hara be one and the same? Vishnu had light, Sattvic qualities, while Shiva had dark, tamasic qualities. They were so different! But knowing their thoughts, Vishnu took on the form of Shiva. The gods could no longer tell the difference between the trident-bearing, three eyed god, or the conch bearing lord. And so, realizing finally that Vishnu and Shiva were one and the same, they bowed in devotion and worshipped Sri Hari Hara.
and what is this Hari Hara? from where you have came up with this ?
Shri Hari Hara please....
well it's not a New Story... 95% of Hari bhakts and Shiv bhakts Has heard this Story before.... and many Times.
There are many story. quote the shastra name, where it is written ?
@Kunal
Ok whatever you may follow we have no objection, but this theories has deviated common people from following original teaching of upanisads, vedanta sutra , Bhagavad Gita and from following legendary Acharyas like Ramanuja, Madhava, Chaitanya. This theories created more and more atheist in India rather than a true devotee of either Lord Shiva or Lord Vishnu.
Why you put forwarding theory without any scriptural basis. HuH ? how will convince the mass. We accept what as it is written in Vedas.
If you really try to prove something put forward your argument with support from Gita, Bhagavatam, Vedanta sutras.

when you chant Maha Mantra... You Think about Shri Hari or theories? Shri Hari Right? Shri Ram Said "Shiv Drohi mam Das Kahava So na Sapnehu Mohi na bhava..."
I am not Trying to Prove anything I am just saying Just as Shri Hari is Dear to Mahadev and Mahadev Chants Shri Ram.....in the same way mahadev is Dear to Shri Hari.... he Chants Shri Shiva.... :)
then who are we to declare it an offence if some one Treat Shiva and Narayana one.
It is not we that has declared its an offence. It is scriptures and Acharyas who has declared. when you taking one part of the story why not take the other part also, Read Ramanuja, Madhava and all the vaishnava acharyas they never said both are same.
Vishnu is the inner dweller of Lord Shiva and Brahma as well as all other living enitity. Smell is attribute of flower , but smell is not flower though it is coming out of flower. This is the verdict of Vedanta sutra. Not all are same, its a theory of people who don't want to surrender.
